I had the pleasure of dining at Goodfellows 7b for the first time yesterday. The restaurant came very well recommended and it didn't disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed everything at 7b - service and ambiance were excellent, and the food exceptional - every course was divine! Nothing disappointed. In my opinion, the very best restaurant by far in Wells and surrounding area! We will definitely return!

We have been keen devotees of Goodfellows for many years, and now with the move to their beautiful new location, dining with them is even more pleasurable. The food is out of this world, and we have never been disappointed with any dish. If ever we go to dine elsewhere, we always compare it to Goodfellows, and it never measures up to Adam's top notch cuisine - everything tastes divine. Big thanks to Adam, Martine and the whole team. We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant in our area!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything at 7b - service an ambiance was all you could ask for but the food was outstanding, we left feeling so well fed yet so comfortable that the short walk home was also a pleasure. We have 7b down as the place to celebrate special events.

As others have said, 7B carries on from the great restaurant that was Goodfellows but makes it even better. Still the best restaurant in Wells.

We were very happy to re discover Goodfellows in its new home at 7b. If anything the experience was even better than what we were used to at the old venue in Sadler Street. We had our first lunch at 7b during the run up to Xmas. We were bowled over with the quality & elegance of the food & the presentation. We will definitely be back & can categorically say that 7b has well & truly gained its place as the best food venue in Wells.

This was our first visit to the Olive Tree, where we had lunch. The service was attentive and appropriate. As for the food, it was excellent with each of us having two courses. The house wine with the meal was a very good Merlot at a reasonable price. All in all an excellent experience and we will visit again. One small suggestion would be background music could be added for ambiance.

First visit to their new location which is more atmospheric than the original restaurant whilst retaining the usual high culinary standards. Always the best restaurant in Wells it must still retain that title

We loved the old Goodfellows and wondered how Adam, Martine and Renaud could possibly recreate it at 7b. They have and more. From the moment we arrived, the welcome, the stunning decor, the table settings and, especially, the cuisine were nothing short of exceptional. Dinner at 7b was far more than a meal out; it was an event, a memorable occasion delivered by a team who genuinely wanted us to enjoy every minute.

Every experience of Goodfellows is an occasion - a feast both for the eyes and the palate! Thank you Adam, Martine and the team - we cannot recommend you more highly
