The Albion – PortisheadHalf way through our meal me and my son went to the lavatory to find two RATS...YES RATS darting away from us on approach....This venue should either be shut down immediately or immediate action taken to address its faults. This was mentioned to another member of staff who admitted this is an on-going problem...Management (If you can call them that) here are diabolical, absolute no concern or regard for there customers, service was chaotic, food came out warm and looked as if it had been pre-cooked then re-heated. We never got allocated a member of staff to our table, so we didn't have that personal customer experience, but we instead had to deal with members of staff ourselves on many occasions, who in my own opinion are un-trained and seem to have got thrown in the deep hand. When it came to ordering cocktails we had to experience this first hand once again with not one member of staff knowing how to make a Cosmopolitan from memory, this does not look professional for such a commonly asked drink! Either the company is doing badly financially or just cashes in on every opportunity they can, while neglecting their own staff to save costs.
The Brass Pig – CliftonDear Sir, My friend and I last evening came to the Wishing Well at about 7.00 pm. We were happy to find plenty of clean tables, when we sat at table 35 choose our food. I went to the bar when there was just one pleasant member of bar staff serving she was coping very well with the crowd of people at the bar. The after about five minutes she was joined by another pleasant young man. Who when it was my turn to be severed took my order for food and supplied the ordered drinks. After about 20 – 35 minutes and with other people being served who had ordered after us. We asked the young man where our order was. He went to find out after much looking at the till and checking with the manager and the kitchen staff he went about his business. He then brought out more orders while obviously ignoring us. After 15 minutes I went up to him and asked what was going on. He avoided all eye contacted with me and did say anything. So I said to him our order hasn’t been processed has it to which he agreed and then said it is on the way as he been finding out what happened. The thing that upset me so much is I expect that mistakes happen and no one wants things like this to happen, but for good customer service and just respect to people the young man only had to come to us ant tell us what was happening. When he brought the food which was lovely and when he came to check with us on either of these occasions did not he apologise. I have worked in catering as had my fiend we met while training as chefs, and still work in customer service the first thing to do is acknowledge the problem and say sorry. Also the manager must have seen me going to the young man and taking him to task, when I went to speak to him when it was obvious he knew what was happening I told him all he need to do was to come across to us and explain what was happening. Also it was obvious that the staff had been discussing us and when we left the pleasant young lady looked our way and when I made eye contact with her she looked away. For good customer service she could have apologised and we would have left happy, all that happened is we left disappointed and will tell people that the food is lovely but the staff have no customer skills.
The Wishing Well – Longwell GreenFriends say the restaurant is wonderful
Sotto Sotto – BathGood food great service. Monday buffet recommended and the goan fish curry is awesome!
Jhalmuri – FromeDue to not being able to take a holiday to any of the Greek Islands, i had searched for a local Greek restaurant. Was excited to go to Opa on my birthday. A beautiful setting and some friendly staff but i am just sorry that the food didnt live up to my expectations. I have eaten in a few Greek restaurants and the quality of food was no where near the same standard. The meat seemed to be processed and the taste of some dishes seemed over cooked. It was very quiet and my partner and i were the only customers the entire evening. The service was ok but not overly friendly or accommodating. A real shame, as my partners first time experiencing Greek food....its almost put him off.
Opa Meze Bar and Greek Restaurant – BathGeorge's Fish Bar in Hanham, Bristol, holds the Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers. You can be certain of the quality of the product and service you receive at this shop.
George’s Fish Bar – Bristol City CentreWe have used this Restaurant for many years. Jimmy and his family run the business superbly. Very friendly staff, the service is wonderful and the food is to die for. The ambiance is lovely with soft lighting, not too soft that you can't see what you are eating though. A nice selection of wines, lovely coffee. I would so recommend this Awesome eating establishment to anybody. Their take-away service is very good too. Go on... Treat yourselves!
Sugar Cane Restaurant – YeovilGreat food and service. And excellent value.Unlimited salad , refillable drinks. And fee ice cream vouchers . I don't know how the do it
Lamb and Flag Harvester – Westbury-on-TrymWe have eaten here regularly over the years and have never been disappointed by the food or the service. Authentic Italian cuisines served in a friendly polite way. My son and daughter in law held their wedding reception here and it holds nothing but wonderful memories for us all. The staff were efficient and venue is close to the registry office. I highly recommend Europa for all who enjoy quality Italian food.
Europa – Bristol City CentreWe ordered a bottle of wine and was given a half used bottle that had been kept in the fridge ,the waiter was watching the football and playing on his phone and not good food.
Halo – Bristol City CentreLate lunch after a busy morning shopping in Bath and we stumbled across the Real Italian Pizza Co. Open kitchen and a few tables when you walk in plus a much larger dining area upstairs, to which we were directed. I had an Emiliana pizza which was a new one on me (a normal margherita, then when it’s cooked they add parma ham and balsamic) and my partner had the Caesar Salad. Food was good and we would certainly go back. Interesting that they had a notice on the door saying they would accept (and honour) vouchers for any of the big Italian chains. Struck me as a good way for an independent to fight back against the muscle of the big chains.
The Real Italian Pizza Co. – BathWe love eating at the cottage Are you cooking Xmas and Boxing Day How much per head. Thanks Nibs
Cottage Inn The – Bristol City CentreYesterday, visited the Villager for a post-funeral daytime buffet-not just an excellent restaurant but a wonderful and "different" eating experience, food/service first-class and highly recommended for those culinary experts who appreciate extraordinary personal service-21st century eating in a 250 year old building-take your cameras!!
The Villager – Westbury-on-TrymVisited your restaurant tonight with my mum and friend and I have to say it was the worse meal we have had in a long while took ages to come and it was cold ,wasn't entirely satisified with the response I got from the staff ,in this day and age where money is tight people will go elsewhere like I will.
The Wishing Well – Longwell GreenWent to this place as our usual restaurant was closed. A real stroke of luck!!! Had a lovely meal in relaxed and clean surroundings. Not loud and pretentious like Bottelinos, for instance. The pizzas were GORGEOUS!!! My family had the Etna, Marinara and San Guiseppe. Thin and tasty bases with generous toppings Mmmm!!!! Will definitely come back here for more good food and lovely service. Ciao XX
La Passione – KingswoodAte there a while ago. Just got to go back for more because the food's absolutely delicious.
