Cosmo – CliftonAwful, awful, the service was terrible, it was not busy but we got sat on a small table so when I ordered a bottle of bubbly there was no room to put it, waitress put it on the floor :( with no wine bucket, we were lost for words. ordered a fish starter (share starter) when they brought it out half the things that were listed to be on the dish so I asked an she said o yes sorry we don't have that so i said you didn't tell us so we had an option to change the starter she said o sorry. We sent it back we ordered fajitas they were awful, no taste, I could not eat them, it was my birthday and it was ruined. I could not even drink the bubbly off the floor, we asked to see someone in charge, we complained and all she said was I only just started this job, we just paid what we had to pay and left.
Casa Mexicana – Bristol City CentreVery bad experience, food did not arrive, lots of the food on the menu not in stock, abusive manager even when we tried to call to make a complaint we were accused of swearing at the staff, when we had children with us we are not the type to swear at anyone
The Wishing Well – Longwell GreenLovely food , one of the best harvesters I've been to. The portions are huge and the salad bar is fab, very clean and friendly.
Lamb and Flag Harvester – Westbury-on-TrymI would not recommend this establishment. The food was poor, the roast dinner looked and tasted as if it was from a ready meal packet, and the prices are over the odds especially for the quality provided. The staff member serving us was very abrupt and unfriendly, and stood in the center of the room watching us eat. We felt very rushed and unwelcome despite being the only customers.
Chris’s Traditional Restaurant – Weston Super MareI'm from London and hope one day they open one up here. Been there twice now and the 2 people that tended to us John and Sharon I think they were called couldn't do enough. Place has a rustic and hence authentic Mexican feel and dishes stunning. Try the chimichangas and refried beans.
Casa Mexicana – Bristol City CentreAlways impressed by the levels of customer service and menu innovation. It’s great to see that San Carlo has been able to maintain the high standards it sets itself. Looking forward to another trip back soon
San Carlo – Bristol City CentreExcellent. Pub grub with hospitable service . Lovely complimentary salad , cheap and cheerful.
Lamb and Flag Harvester – Westbury-on-TrymWhen we arrived car park was empty. We wasn't sure if it was open. We loved the look of the childrens play area however when we walked to the door there was a sign to say it was closed off due to health and safety. We walked in and was greeted by a lovely young lad. He was very polite and smiles . We ordered our food, lasagne salad garlic bread and a mixed grill which was £21 , a children's bangers and mash. When the food came out, the childs meal beautifullly presented. Mine was ok and partners looked huge. The lad came out and asked if everything was ok. At that point I said yes. However I then realised I had no salad and other half had no chicken drumstick or peas . I went to complain and said that I didn't realise at . The gentlemen went straight into the kitchen. The manageress asked the lad what was the problem. After q few moments she came out and hardly made any eye contact with me. Went and spoke to my partner instead. The catering firm has changed the packaging and mix grill no longer contains the drum stick. The chef forgotten the peas. The lasagne, apparently I didn't state I wanted salad although that is what was on the menu. Would you go up and quote every ingredient wanted ? She did ask if we want them and we Saud no. Qite frankly her attitude left a bad taste and like my partner says, of course it's really clean there. They have no customers. I unfortunately won't be going back. Just due to the rudeness. Mistakes happens but when you spend money and don't recieve what you pay for on the menu as stated, why go back ?
Full Quart – Weston Super MareVisited a few weeks ago promised a phone call nothing. Service bad food bad will not return not recommended.
Brassmill The – KeynshamThe best Madras ive ever had anywhere, and ive tried a fair few , so now i always go to Curry Supreme.
Curry Supreme – Bristol City CentreGood sunday lunch.
Black Horse The – KingswoodThis is Southern Indian food at its best! The staff were so informative about the dishes, they spoke both about the ingredients and also about how they are eaten and when, in India. Every dish tasted totally different not like your average Indian where lots of the dishes kinda taste the same. The food is delicious especially the 'dosa' its like an Indian pancake. This Southern style Indian food is clean, fresh and healthy, and not oily like Indian curry as you know it. I highly recommend dining here!!!
Ganesha Authentic Indian Cusine – BedminsterME AND MY WIFE VISITED YOUR PUB RECENTLY WE ENJOYED THE FOOD AND THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY. WE ARE COMING TO LIVE NEAR BANWELL AND WE WILL BE COMING BACK TO SEE YOU ALL SOON.. GREAT LITTLE PUB.
Coach House Inn – Weston Super MareVery welcomig and friendly pub. The food is very good and a varied menus. Good outdoor space on warmer days and good choice of wines.
Pelly Chew Magna – BlagdonHaving happened upon The Brassmill a few months ago we decided to go there on 3rd February for a birthday celebration. This time we were not as lucky. There were 6 of us and 2 had fish pie which I can only describe as "sloppy and wet" - a spoon would have been better than a knife and fork. One person had gamon steak which was overcooked and another person had burnt sausages! That left 2 people with ok meals. I was shocked to note that 3 250ml glasses of a mediocre rose wine came to £18.75 - £6.25 a glass! We have another birthday coming up in a few weeks time and will make certain we don't repeat this disappointment.
Brassmill The – KeynshamI visited the cowshed 3 nights ago and i loved it!! Brilliant place to go if your a steak lover!!! Defo would recommend and go again!!
The Cowshed Bar & Grill – CliftonWe a group of 7 adults visited the Albion Pub Portishead Bristol on Sat 2nd of Feb for drinks and a meal following attendance at an internment service, as we were waiting to order food for everyone at 12.00 o'clockWe ordered drinks including tea for two peopleWhen the tea arrived with 2 cups etc on a tray there was only 1 tea bag in the pot . With the amount of water in the pot it was so weak so one of our party asked for another tea bag .The barman then said it will be 1.15 for the tea bag what. ? He'd didn't even offer another pot hot water .I returned the pot of tea which was not fit for purpose and requested a refund of the extra 1.15 he said I had to play for it!???!!!!!!!!I then informed the Barman that we not be using this pub again or recommend it to anyone else We left to find a professionally run place that had customer service and with more pleasant surroundings and people behind the bar who were there to provide a fair and honest serviceI would rather the 1.15 went to charity than to the jobs worth unprofessional pub It would probably explain why there was only one person in a very large pub when we arrived
