A poor quality Indian restaurant, lacking atmosphere, civility of service with below average standard of food. Avoid unless you are convinced you want to try a new restaurant. Rajpoot, our usual, deserves all the credit it merits.

Booked a table for two at the last minute on a Monday night and was not disappointed. An intimate setting serving Northern Italian cuisine at its best. I opted for a Wild Mushroom Brushetta to start with and Shredded Duck with Pappardelle pasta as a main course, both tasted great. For desert we shared a pancotta which was thick, creamy and delicious Through out the evening we were well attended to by the waiting staff who were were both pleasant and prompt with making sure everything was okay. There was not a long waiting time on food at all, though even if there was you could easily spend the entire evening in Prosecco's relaxed atmosphere. Eating for two came to aound about £70 for 2 shared courses, a main and starter. This price included a few beers and glasses of wine. I would highly recommend this restaurant to couples and small parties of adults.

We have been going to Zoi's for a long time and have always had great Italian food with very friendly staff and nice atmosphere, as my wife is a vegetarian we agree that the food is far better than some 5 star restaurants we have been too

Well what can I say - I'll make it short as that's all this place deserves. Saturday night, 4 couples, 40th birthday celebration. Venue beautiful, seated 45 minutes late, starters arrive randomly and most overcooked & overpriced. Mains arrive with some of the starters, no side dishes and all pretty dire, sides arrive when most of the mains finished and this was only after requesting them more than once. No offer of desserts or coffees, in fact the tables were cleared! By then the whole place had turned into a banging nightclub for the Bath sloane's where champagne and cocaine seemed to be the only thing on the menu. When we complained about the service etc we were fobbed off with the offer of cheap wine and this was after having to argue our case for 20 minutes. Will definitely not be frequenting this venue again, dreadfully overpriced food and exceptionally poor service. Please don't waste your time or money!

Went here with our 2 children and had the meat , it was excellent 2nd time of coming here, could not fault the service or food, will be back again. Music is excellent, reminds us of dinning abroad.

Remember the last time you had Indian food and how great it was, now times that by five and you have Mazza Namakar Lounge. Having only been open a week, this is an undiscovered wonder, soon to be huge on the Bristol restaurant scene.We were met at the door by Kasia and her slick team of friendly and professional front of house staff and treated to some India-inspired cocktails from the inventive menu. Here, timeless classics neighbour Indian inspired masterpieces, using only fresh, seasonal ingredients. I was amazed by the refreshing, clean taste of my watermelon and cucumber punch (non-alcoholic £2.25) while my companion (a hard-to-please Indian food expert) opted for a decadent Slum Millionaire champagne cocktail (£7.50). The knowledgeable mixologist rustled both up from scratch in no time at all.We felt it only right to sample the ‘Bitings Menu’ (£2.20-£5.50) and ordered some tasty Crispy Bhajias – very finely sliced potato in crispy gram flour batter. These were perfectly seasoned and a great accompaniment to our drinks.Namaskar’s décor is extravagant, boasting marble flooring imported from India and a very grand staircase to gastronomic heaven.The bar/lounge area is stylish and spacious and would lend itself well to a trendy party or high profile event.Upstairs we discovered an open kitchen which lines one side of the room – talented chefs in smart uniform were hard at work.We were soon so discover that the care and attention that went into the magnificent interior is mirrored in the fantastic food experience – Namaskar is definitely a place for a foodie!We were shown to our seats and Papad (Popadums) and Namaskar Pickles (slightly morish) were brought to our table.The chefs prepared a selection of delicious starters for us to try (£3.90-£7.90). This comprised of chicken, lamb and king prawns from the tandoor clay oven marinated to perfection, BBQ Paneer Tikka cheese and fresh naan bread.Our waiters were proud to recommend Grover Vineyard Indian wine to accompany our meal (£4.95 a glass) – I had Cabernet Shiraz which was an utter beast in a chilled glass with its smoky intense flavour (due to the terroirs) and a great compliment to the spicy banquet.My companion had a Sauvignon Blanc which was complex and oaky – again a perfect partner to our food.After a pause and a chat to digest the magnificent starters, a selection of mains arrived (£8.50-£19.60):All curries were cooked to perfection – the star of the show for me was a chicken Mirch – very hot and excellently spiced with distinctive flavours of black pepper corns and curry leaves. The Adrakh was also fabulous with its whole spices and ginger. We had well-cooked Jeera rice to accompany. We also enjoyed Saag Aloo and Chicken Patiala (a house special - omelette style dish with spinach stolen from a trip to Mumbai).The Indian breads were very good (all around £2.00) – we had a selection of Naans with fresh Nigella seeds, Chapati and a Roomali Roti cooked fresh in the tandoor. Hankering for something sweet, we opted for Gulab Jamoon to share - an Indian version of warm donuts floating in warm sweet syrup. This is a staple in most parts of India and for us, the perfect end to a perfect meal.Bristol certainly has an Indian restaurant to rave about – well done Namaskar!Reviewed by Catherine Farinha

Great Bar, lovely food, good beers, live sport, nice atmosphere.What more could I ask for?

I have been to posh spice many times over the years as it's the only one in nailsea but after my most recent experience i’ll NEVER go again. We were a large group for a friends birthday and had to repeatedly ask for menus, waited over 1 hour for drinks, when my partners plate came it had dried food on it and when i asked for it to be changed they wiped it off with a cloth in front of us and gave it straight back!! Finally after 2 hours of waiting the food arrived but unfortunately most of it was cold (its often not hot in previous experiences) and my nan bread was missing, the 1st waiter said it was coming in a few mins but then the 2nd waiter claimed i never ordered it although i had double checked when we ordered. After another 5 mins my nan arrived unfortunately the bottom was very burnt. We asked to speak to the manager explaining that we appreciate they were busy but it wasn't a great meal, he said he would take money off the bill, we asked for the bill 3 times before it eventually came but without any money taken off. I went over and politely spoke to the manager who suddenly started shouting aggressively at me accusing me of complaining for no reason and that its normal for the food not to be hot!! (Although we saw at least 2 other tables complain and all tables around us were asking us about the food as they had also waited about 2 hours!) As he was so rude and aggressive i literally had to fight back the tears and just calmly said just give me the bill back and i will never come here again. (It was given back to me with £30 total off for the whole group). I literally can not believe the way i was spoken(shouted) at and i will never step back in that place again

Don't bother!! Expensive meal for savoury rice covered in cayeene pepper. food cold and microwaved life out of it.. Teeth aching from chewing some very old cow. such a shame we were all looking forward to trying the menu but discovered they ran out. Not greeted by any staff on arrival and stood in a empty cold bar for ten minutes. Half way through meal the big screen got pulled down behind my friends head and football was put on.. would not recommend this place to anyone. m.briton

The food is average. Vegetables frozen from a packet. Ordered two glasses of coke without ice, but only got two half full glasses. When I asked them to top them up, was refused on the grounds that if I had ice in them, it would have filled up the glass.! £1.80 for half a glass of coke is a RIP OFF

We have been going to Goodfellows since Adam opened and having eaten there so often over the years I can honestly say all the food I have eaten there has been outstanding. I even took my very fussy Mum in Law for Dinner and she raved!! Amazing because she never raves about anything! Our repeated visits say alot because my husband usually refuses to go back to a restaurant more than twice! Well done and we are trying out the Goodfellows in Shepton this weekend - all my little boys are very excited because they also get delicious food to eat and not just the usual children fayre of frozen food beans and chips... You get our vote Goodfellows!

I've dined in Europa with my boyfriend some time ago. I had a pizza (don't remember which one now) and my boyfriend had pasta. Both of us were satisfied with the portion sizes and with the quality of the meals. Its is a great place to have a nice Italian food (and beer). Plus its all affordable!! Will come back for sure!

We have eaten here now over the last 2/3 years and always find the food excellent as is the attention from the team. We enjoy the atmosphere and would recommend that you pay a visit....... I bet it wont be your last.

When I took my family out last weekend to San Carlo I really wanted to impress them. Impress them I did! They loved the food – that’s a bit of an understatement- the atmosphere was fantastic and it was overall a great evening had by all!

Had a fantastic meal at Angelina's tonight. What a super place. Food great, staff friendly and the restaurant itself, clean and very pretty. Can't think of anything bad to say about it. All in all was excellent and I will be going back, again, and again and again...
