Coach and Horses – CliftonHad a lovely meal with my family the staff were very welcoming and the food was just wonderful I would recommend this place for families and we will definitely be going back!
Bayleys Court Inn – AlmondsburyOur family foursome, i.e. mum/dad/sis/myself. Finally went to this inn, after various attempts/recommendations. Very oldy worldy inn unpretentious, no frills but, it did live up to what we had been told, a bowl of this, a bowl of that £3.20 with a nagging of fresh bread. About 35 people came and went while we were there. All had at least 2 drinks and a bowl of food. A good sign in my eyes and all gave complimentary remarks. Excellent to think this inn, is time warped backwards some 70/80 years. We?l be back.
Hunters Lodge Inn The – WellsFound this little pub just after the new owners had taken over. The small back courtyard affair was a good move by the new people, creating an exquisite outdoor area. Homemade pies are the feature here, being northeners, it was just the job. Our quartet, each had a different pie and were not disappointed. A little gem this place could well turn out to be.
Sheppey Inn The – WellsThis restaurant is a great find. I have eaten there a number of times now, and have never been disappointed. The food is all freshly cooked to order, and the service is great. You must check this place out.
China and China – TauntonIn my opinion this is a pub that? hit and miss. Our first visit spot on, but drinks pricey. Second visit, food pricey and nothing to write home about, drinks still pricey. Third visit drinks only, and yes, still pricey, service was dire as well as all 2 staff were in the kitchen cleaning up. Not very inspiring as I had decided to give it a last try and brought 2 friends as well enough said.
Old Burtle Inn The – BridgwaterThe visit was our first, fairly busy, good sign especially as they were all eating. We were not disappointed when our meals arrived. I had a huge salad with chicken breast on top and a myriad of ingredients I was well pleased and, well full. My parents have been back a few times and still say it? as good and seems to be a lot busier than there first visit. Well worth a visit.

Yum Yum Thai – BathHad been meaning to try this restaurant for a while as I? always looking for a good Italian. I found La Grotta to have a warm and cosy surroundings. The food was great and I could tell cooked fresh. The service good considering how busy it was. I was served by a beautiful girl named Grass, Who told me it was a family run business which makes sense as I?e always preferred these kinds of restaurant. Only wished I? tried it sooner.
