The place is incredible, choice is fab and the food is out of this world - will 100% be back - hopefully in the evening so I can enjoy a glass of wine with me food

The Mason’s Arms is a lovely, cosy village pub with a great atmosphere. The food is really good and nicely presented. The staff are wonderful, so kind and always welcoming and helpful. They take good care to ensure that guests are happy and satisfied with their meals. I have visited several times and always enjoy my time there.

Couldn’t fault anything. We have our book club get togethers here every time. We are never rushed and we love the staff and food.

I met 2 friends for lunch on Saturday. None of us had eaten there before. I was able to reserve a table online and received a confirmation email. The atmosphere and greeting was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was hot and delicious. The whole place was beautifully clean and the service was brilliant. Well certainly go there again.

We booked in advance which was a good idea as the restaurant was busy on a Friday night. On entry to the restaurant we were warmly greeted and showed to our table. The ambiance is lovely with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was both visually pleasing and absolutely delicious. We would definitely eat here again.

Delightful small personable restaurant. Delicious food- we liked the fact there was a choice of only 3 main courses. Complimentary Monbazillac for the 90th birthday we were celebrating. A special meal to remember.

We are so happy we ate here duri g our stay in Wells. Staff were attentive and very friendly. The food was amazing! I haven't actually had my eyes pop with shock in quite a while when you try that first mouthful There was no salt or pepper on the tables which was fine as everything was seasoned to perfection.

Superb food, excellent service and attention to detail. It was warm and cozy and had a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

We had another delicious lunch at The Olive Tree yesterday. The menu changes regularly and is seasonal, with a good choice of starter, main & pudd at what we consider to be very reasonable prices for the quality. It also has a lovely atmosphere and is nicely decorated. The front of house team are always welcoming and friendly - that's why it's our 'go to' when we're in Wells!

Made a second visit and had a wonderful lunch. My dining partner had alot of intolerances and things unable to eat - and the staff could not have been more helpful and understanding to guide her to be able to eat at Olive. The Halloumi wrap was sublime!! and the lemon curd meringue dessert was fabulous. Can also recommend the hot ginger cordial that was available. Wonderful atmosphere, warm beautiful surroundings - a new favourite, will return to try out more from menu!
