Nice meal, chicken enchilada for me, could have been had more chillies, my vegan GF liked the Cajan mushroom burger...but 15£?? seriously? Had the rose from France, not the best by far. Friendly service, more pub than restaurant.

We had a lovely meal at The Olive Tree Food was well presented and very good. The service was good and the surroundings were comfirtable Would definitely recommend and go again if in the area

This restaurant is like finding a diamond in a rock full of sparkly stones. Superb food, staffing, ambience and attention to detail. We loved the food and all that went with it.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service but let down by pretty dismal food. Dry, no flavour, menu lacks imagination, and bowls of side dishes clearly old and dry. A drinking pub but definitely not a restaurant.

An excellent pub championing Badger ales with the additional benefit of a clean and well serviced campsite behind. Excellent dinner and breakfast.

How refreshing to find a traditional pub which serves good ale and great food. The menu, particularly for a lunchtime, was very extensive. The food was fresh, well prepared and very enjoyable. The welcome and service was also great, what more can you ask?

What a find! Celebrating a birthday, it was superb. Such a welcoming, warm atmosphere and very dog friendly. Immaculate, beautifully presented, charming, old pub. Traditional fare on the menu but cooked and served with flare, care and imagination. Certainly not the bland, mass produced, boring menus of the chains. Delicious and very reasonably priced. Perfect if you’re looking for an alternative to hugely expensive, gastropubs but would like to support a great local business. In the picturesque village of Lower Odcombe, it will most certainly not be our last visit. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent meal, perfect service - and lovely to be greeted with a surprise glass of fizz for our anniversary.

We had a very nice Sunday lunch yesterday, compliments to the chef. Neither of us chose starters but thought we would have a dessert. However, after waiting sometime after our main meal our plates were cleared away apart from a vegetable dish we were not asked if we would like anything else. Basically they completely forgot us - too busy a lunchtime was what I was told when I went to pay. I had booked this meal a week ago as it was my husband’s Birthday. Needless to say we are in two minds if we would visit here again. We have eaten here in the past and it was great but the service let it down this time.

Deliciously lunch on 2nd August with a relaxed atmosphere and attentive but not intrusive service. Scallops were divine and the varied menu superb. Don’t hesitate to book for an unforgettable dining experience. Excellent value for money too.
