Goodfellows at 7B – WellsWe have just spent the most wonderful lunchtime at Goodfellows at 7B. The hot smoked salmon starter was delicious . The cod was superb, in season and from Norway I was reliably told by Adam who found time to chat in the middle of a busy Friday service. A lovely chocolate and blackcurrant dessert to finish, yum!

The food was delicious and well presented, the guy who looked after us was efficient and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was also great value at £20 for two courses. We will definitely be returning!

Everyone is clear on their role. Attentive but not intrusive and delivering delicious food at the "right" price. In many ways, this place could run for a star but I hope not because then it will get way too popular to get a table & the clientele will change to those "who want to be seen". Please stay exactly as you are. Excellent, amazing food, stylish surroundings, yet local & down to earth.

The food was absolutely delicious, we went for the 5 course tasting menu and each course that came out was amazing. Our favourite was the sea bass and venison and the dessert really completed the meal and was light and moreish. We would definitely recommend
Goodfellows at 7B – WellsA most excellent meal. The setting is relaxed and intimate. Adam specialises in fish dishes but today I plumped for the chicken breast. Probably the best chicken I’ve eaten and the dauphinois potatoes were sublime. We will certainly return.
