Do not recommend the early bird menu.If you like chicken or pasta then that's all about your choice but I chose the gammon which was only fit for the cat.I sent back the first meal as it was underdone and the replacement was just the same so home it went to the cat. As i am registered disabled I the disabled parking bays were full and I had to park near the back of the restaurant. When I returned to the car I was blocked in by a delivery lorry and has to wait 15 minutes to get out. I have written to the Manager who acknowledged my letter but after a month has still to provide an explanation of any improvements that could be made.

One of the most established and authentic Indian restaurants in Cardiff. Serving all your traditional favourites including Tikka Massala , Dansak and Dupiaza aswell as specials like Chicken Kholapuri and Citrus Lamb. Excellent Service, ambience and atmosphere. There is usually a doorman in Indian regalia outside its entrance on Mill Lane.

The Castle can always be relied on for tasty home cooking. Excellent value and a warm welcome!

The lasagna is the best i have ever tasted!!! Looks awful but tastes fantastic!

We went to Las Iguanas last Thursday and can't believe what a wonderful time we had. The waitress Lianne looked after us so well and we had so much fun. The food was delicious we loved those Brazilian dishes. The 241 cocktails went down well and I have to recommend those Caipirinha if that's how you spell it. Can't wait to go back for my birthday next month.

This restaurant is really great. The food is well presented and really tasty, the service is exceptional and the cost affordable. Top value for money. I have enjoyed both eating in and take-away and would highly recommend this restaurant

We must write again to recommend this restaurant as a new chef is in residence and he IS the best in town. Authentic Italian cuisine cooked by an Italian chef....SUPERB. The service remains second to none,the atmosphere is relaxed and the prices are very good. Lunch time menu is excellent and you can eat beautiful food in a restaurant for cafe prices and evenings the menu is extensive. It really is an experience not to be missed. We simply cannot recommend it highly enough.Exceptional!

One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. Great service and how they get so much taste into a small piece of meat I don't know. Its just so different from other Indian offerings. Please try it!

We came here 18 months ago, had a lovely Sunday lunch and for no good reason hadn't been back until this weekend. A great, 3 course Sunday lunch again, everything tasted fresh and vibrant. A good house malbec went well with the roast beef and the excellent half bottle of gewurztraminer that we enjoyed went very well with the roast pork. The service is very friendly and the young, alert staff seem to have been well trained. This place seems seriously under-rated compared to some of its better known peers in the area.

totally transformed since I last went about 3 years ago. friendly, smart, excellent food, good choice and not too expensive - intend to try their lunch time special.

An avid fan of indian food, I have tried most restaurants in the area but the Masala beats them all hands down. My family and friends are regular customers.

i went here a just this week and was very disappointed the dip the mint sauce dip was very sour bitter tasting not sweet the curry had no flavour what so ever considering i asked them 4 it to be sweet and creamy my partner was also not impressed even after asking for a another dip it came back same taste and they tried to bill us twice was not happy at all with the service. the mango house on westgate street cardiff is the only Indian restaurant that truly deserves to be at number one spot as they no how to do it in there to peoples liking.

Until April 25th 2009 always an excellent experience. April 25th 2009, a not very busy Saturday night, the service was awful (not once but twice they got the order wrong), not all the courses were served to our party @ the same time and worst of all, they attempted to charge us for drinks that we didn't have. The reputation that they once enjoyed is no longer deserved.

i think the food here is nice but the staff aren't very friendly and one in particular has very bad attitude and communication skills.not enough room to sit and made to feel rushed.

Meal booked three days prior to meal. we arrived there and waited an hour before we were acknowledged by any members of staff we were asked for our orders when they had already been given them when booking. Was told meals that we ordered were unavailable . When complained to manager he was abrupt and unhelpful. This was my parents ruby anniversary, ask yourself why all the recommendations are anonymous!!!!!!!!!!
