Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportFirst time eating at 1176 would recommend the Sunday lunch was very nice ,Service was good and plenty of space between tables.Great location with nice views. Will be back.
1176 Cardigan – CardiganOn Tuesday night my partner and I had a wonderful meal here. From the initial greeting to finishing our dessert, the experience was 5 star. Our waiter was lovely and very helpful with wine selection and the food was delicious. My seabass was in a creamy seafood sauce, the carrots with gremolata and pine nuts, dark leafy greens with garlic plus the best new potatoes I've eaten left just enough room for the sumptuous coconut cream and raspberry sorbet dessert. I'm just sorry we didn't find it earlier in our stay.
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportFood was lovely and accompanied by a great atmosphere. Second to none service. Will certainly be returning!
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportOnce again a delicious Sunday Lunch, excellent staff and a great atmosphere, would definitely recommend.
1176 Cardigan – CardiganFood was amazing (Sunday lunch) beef just melted, could have ate it with a spoon. You have an amazing chef!! I had emailed ahead and spoke to Damien. I have 2 children with ARFID, so will only eat specific things - 1 being mashed potato, broccoli, peas, carrots and gravy. Damien assured me this could be accommodated. If they were unable to assist, I would have booked elsewhere. It is extremely difficult having children with ARFID. If restaurants can’t accommodate, then it means we as a family don’t get to eat out. I don’t think my request was anything too much or complex but when we arrived the waitresses nor chef had a clue. No message had been passed onto the kitchen. The chef was able to provide mash, peas and gravy tho, so both I and my child was very grateful. Beth, our waitress, was so lovely and tried to accommodate us as much as possible. She couldn’t apologise enough. The head waitress, Paula is a nasty bitch. She was extremely rude to my adult daughter about the rest of us being a few minutes late. She said that we only had the table for 2 hours and once that 2 hours were up we were to leave as the table would be booked for people after us. My autistic son had been refusing to put his shoes on, that’s why we were 6 minutes late Paula!!!
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyBest place for a Sunday lunch!
The Copper Pot – CardiganWe visited for dinner once again and love it there. Sunday lunch is to die for, staff very helpful and friendly. Always recommending it to friends
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyWe were a bit disappointed on the quality of the food, we order the pate to start that came without the chuney also the garlic message where swimming in balsamic ginger even soaked through the bread ,we both ordered the steak roll. It said comes with fries and colsaw we had the fries and the steak wasn't cooked to how we asked we ve had many meals up there but not this time very disappointed
The Butchers Arms Pub, Grill & Bunkhouse – Merthyr TydfilFantastic Sunday lunch with plenty of veg. Staff were friendly and service was good. Very good value for money .
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyHad a fantastic meal here last Saturday 2nd May in the comfortable surrounds of The River's Edge. A couple of Cold River ciders and the night was off to a good start had the steak and onion pie and a dessert all very tasty and at a reasonable price. We will definitely return to this delightfully well run country pub in the beautiful Pandy area.
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyMy wife and I had a great meal on Saturday night at The Rivers Edge. Very friendly and welcoming staff, and well prepared food. We will be back !. Thank you.
The Rivers Edge – Abergavennywe had a meal here, the setting , atmosphere was lovely food was so tasty and cooked fresh.. Friendly staff
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyI have heard many really positive comments about Rivers Edge from work colleagues and thought I would see for myself on our anniversary. I was really impressed by all aspects of our experience and the food was really excellent. I will be back
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyWe have been coming to LM for about 7 years as it’s a dog friendly establishment with superior food. On this occasion LM was very quiet so we had the choice of Pod or cellar bar. The roaring fire in the bar was a lovely touch. The service and food were exceptional and we had a wonderful meal. The BBQ octopus and crab were real hits. Welsh pork with carrot and pine nuts plus local potatoes made a wonderful main. The coconut cheesecake ( more like a mousse ) was very light and tasty but a little more coconut flavour would not go amiss. Coming to LM every year is top of our places to go - we LOVE it.
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportGreat pub staff are really nice.., had the lamb dinner and it was lovely, but not as nice as it was the last time I ate there Sept 25. Meal was served with mash carrots and grilled vine tomatoes. Hopefully revert back for next visit. Paul
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyWe stayed at the adjacent campsite and booked evening meals on the Friday and Saturday nights and the Rise and dine breakfast Sat morning. The food was great on all sittings, good value for money and very well presented. The staff were great and the owners were very friendly. Obviously very well known locally for great food as Saturday was almost fully booked. Just a shame we had to leave early Sunday and miss their famous Sunday roasts.
The Rivers Edge – AbergavennyA lovely meal last night, with great menu options for someone who is gluten intolerant, also delicious cocktails and mocktails. Special mention goes to the tempura hake - wonderfully fresh fish in thin batter that was super crisp. In my opinion it's refreshing and reassuring to see a short menu at The Copper Pot, which does all options very well, and s so much better than dozens of items done poorly. They ate also unlikely to be out of a catering doctors.
