Never had a bad meal at The Pheasant, food is superb. One of the best local pubs for Sunday Lunch.

My husband and I were in Keswick with a walking group in April and thought we would try out the Pheasant Inn and we were really pleased we did. The atmosphere, service and food was fantastic and portions were very generous. We liked it so much we went back later in the week. It's busy so make sure you book to avoid disappointment.

What a wonderful find. So pleased we booked here last minute. Great, fresh menu which caters for all dietary requirements (pescatarian, vegan and gluten free in our party). All of our choices were delicious with generous portions. Really lovely staff and very relaxed, jovial atmosphere. The extra effort (eg gluten free shortbread with dessert) was much appreciated. Fantastic.

Always try and go here when in Keswick. Advise booking in advance as it’s always busy but online booking was straightforward. Excellent food and ale in a cosy traditional pub. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Cannot fault, would highly recommend.

Food was decent but service very slow on a busy Saturday night and they forgot to bring bread we ordered as a starter.

I cannot fault this place. The owner was extremely good at accommodating us with a dog at short notice over the phone. He came over and asked for me by name to check everything was ok. The food is outstanding and all the staff are happy to help with anything. Well done to all the Pheasant!
