Honey Tree – MorecambeWe have been dining here since the restaurant first opened and the quality of both the food and the service from the staff is second to none. We have taken many friends there over the years and without exception they have enjoyed their visit. We would highly recommend a a trip to this restaurant and if you are a newcomer to Indian food you just need to ask advice from the helpful staff.
Sangam Balti House – PrestonI am a regular visitor here and every time we enjoy a good meal. With a huge choice on the menu and draught indian lagers, the hyatt offers one of the best curries around.
The Hyatt – ChorleyWe booked Huntleys at Night for my father in law's 80th birthday celebration, and we could not have been happier with what we got. Both before and during the meal Mark and the Huntleys staff were considerate and helpful, and the quality of everything was great. We had a lovely evening there, and I'd be happy to go back any time.
Huntleys – Prestonwe have just arrived home from a drive to the Red Pump (which we last visited 15yrs ago) and what a difference. we had an excellent lunch. Stuffed mushroom filled with pate battered and deep fried. I had the rack of lamb for my main course on the landlords say, so he's not a bad judge, it was very good. My other half went for the roast sirloin of beef which was tender and tasty (the portions being large I had to finish the beef ) We thanked the landlord and landlady plus the chef who had come into the dining room for a very nice lunch. As we were leaving we asked if the Red Pump had guest bedrooms and we were given the guided tour they are very nice well worth a look.
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeAbsolutely brilliant everytime!!!
Masala Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant and Takeaway – MorecambeExcellent value and Quality. Clean and comfortable. Worth a trip. Parking not the best.
Buffet@Preston – PrestonBest Asian we have tried. Good wine list and excellent service.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonGreat atmosphere, real fire and tea light candles dotted about the place. Friendly, welcoming staff, food absolutely wonderful ! Cannot fault the place at all.
Yew Tree Inn – Chorleyfabulous.... well done jon and marti .... happy new year. big kiss xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx rosie and mike x
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeGood Food but limited Menu. Atmosphere could be improved. Wine list limited. Parking very limited. Needs to be more authentic.
Fresco Fresco – Leylandthis place is amazing, you are made to feel so welcome and the food is fantastic. I will definitely be a regular visitor from now on.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterVery nice surprise. The Inn At Whitewell was bursting at the seams and it was a horrible day. The Red Pump was down the road and we were wet and cold and hungry. We were greeted by a roaring fire, very pleasant hosts and owners and a few tables who's obviously been before and the banter was hilarious. Not terribly busy but that wasn't a problem when we had our food! I had smoked loin of local pork and my husband had the Bowland hotpot and they were both excellent, full of proper home cooked flavour and nicely presented. More a gastro pub than a pub (is that a really bad thing nowadays?...sorry if offended red pump!, but meant as compliment). definitely will visit again....resident dog is worth the visit again alone (as well as the pork loin!!). Had two desserts (all very obviously home made) and were excellent; tried the lemon and lime cheesecake with ginger, lemon and lime sauce and lemon confit and it was very good, my husband had the home made red berry ice cream. very very good......
The Red Pump Inn – ClitheroeWe live in Essex and my family was invited to a Christmas dinner at an Indian restaurant. Upon arrival the restaurant was very busy but the friendly staff made us feel right at home. We were quickly seated and pulled our crackers. I had the Christmas dinner and was very impressed that Indians knew how to cook a Christmas turkey. The children played all round the restaurant. It felt like one big Christmas dinner with diners opening presents as well as waiters giving out gifts. It was a lovely experience and definitely visit Agra again! One for all the family!
Agra Indian Restaurant – BurnleyThis is our favourite, try the Chicken Tikka Dupiaza it is divine, service fantastic too, this restaurant is possibly the best in Lancashire.
Agra Indian Restaurant – BurnleyMe and my family come here alot we know the manager Alex
Nino’s Rawtenstall – RawtenstallI went there for the first time and I loved it, there food is the best I tried the family size 16 inch Asian style which was so tasty and filling I told my friends to order the same.
Balti House – BlackburnWe went as a group of 6 (with one being a vegetarian) on Saturday night. We had to book a couple of weeks in advance as it's a fairly small place and fills up! We were given a beautiful canape as we sat down (not veggie though I'm afraid). The menu wasn't as extensive as I thought it would be although I found a beautiful smoked chicken roulade starter and a mushroom risotto main. The melon starter is highly recommended by those who had it describing it as a "taste sensation" The fillet steak was absolutely mouth wateringly beautiful cooked to perfection and although it stated in the menu that it came with black pudding mash, the chef was happy to do a plain mash for the unadventurous diners! The only gripe was that there was not a large choice of veggie meals. Our diner did not like the 2 on offer and had one of the 2 veggie starters as her main course. It was more expensive than we were expecting to be honest, but for most of us it was worth it. Four of us will return - when we are feeling a little more affluent!
