We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Brooks after a long absence and were delighted to find that standards have been maintained. Four of us shared two sharing platters then a range of dishes, and were impressed by the flavours and freshness of all. The Sri Lankan menu offers a refreshing change from the norm.

We have been going to Tanvis for a lads curry night regularly since it opened and changed hands. The food is, as always, excellent and we find the dining experience a great night out. There is a wide variety of choice for everyone, service is first class and it is priced really well and it is value for money. If you’ve not been yet I would recommend giving it a go I’m sure you’ll enjoy the experience.

Second time here . Booked for lunch . Booking online is straight forward . Greeted pleasantly on arrival and received excellent service . Food is delicious . We’ve booked for Christmas Day and doubt we will be disappointed

Lovely food very welcoming!

Went for the Early Bird special and it did not disappoint! We were a group of six ordering different entrées and main meals - everything was great apart from the calamari which was somewhat overdone but not enough to send back. Lovely atmosphere, great service, we’ll recommend to others and return!

An excellent meal. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive. The menu choice and variety is excellent and so varied. We had meat, fish and vegetable dishes, and all very very good and delicious. Will definitely be back.

Well appointed ambience with goodly sized portions to the nicely cooked food. Just one minor comment though. We all thought that the chair heights were a little too short for the tables.

As always a beautiful meal, staff very attentive and helpful, we're always welcomed and well cared for a highly recommended restaurant thank you for a lovely experience.

Exceptional food and service. Always feel like I’m somewhere else when I visit here. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive. Food was divine and I even got a special little treat for my birthday. I will definitely be back.

2nd visit to the venu we went with friends had the all you can eat..loved it they loved it , food was freshly cooked,nans were delish as were the other dishes... Staff were amazing Definitely going back Thankyou

We dined her two nights and both were very good. Service is friendly and fast and reservations are recommended. Good selection of beers by It wine could be a bit better. We recommend

Great little Bistro which served great tasting food at a really good price, the service was attentive; honestly what was not to like. This was our first visit, we visited midweek and the Bistro was busier than I expected, despite this the wait times were short and the waiting staff were constantly checking all tables to see if anyone needed anything. We will be back!

We booked for an evening meal for 3 adults while having a few days holiday in the area. We had different meals but all were very good , the steak & ale pie had a lovely flaky pastry top and a nice accompaniment of veg & potatoes. Scampi & chips was very tasty and the burger & chips was perfect. If we return to the area we will be sure to eat here again. The staff were very welcoming. We would recommended this to all.

We decided at the last minute to have dinner at the craven arms. What a good decision! It has always been excellent and it still is. There have been some menu changes which are all good. Very nice choices, I could have eaten anything on the menu. What we did have was delicious. The service was also very efficient and very friendly.

Food was spot on waiters were great (namrata)
