We could not fault the food, but it was just the length of time between courses that was very slow and we were there for 2 1/2 hours. Although the staff were friendly and pleasant, it may have required a few extra staff to assist. We also had to ask for the bill and then eventually had to go to the bar as we had waited for a while.

We booked for six people on Christmas Eve, for a family get together and a birthday celebration. On arrival, the bar staff were pleasant and accommodating as we did not wish to eat straight away. The service was good and there was a nice atmosphere. We were given a good large table and we were able to converse easily with each other, without loud music, which is rare these days. The food was very enjoyable and nicely presented. If I had to have a niggle, it would be. It was Christmas Eve and there was nothing on the table that said Christmas.I don't think it would take much to put a nice candle and a few sprigs of Holly on the table. However, the whole experience was very enjoyable and we would book to eat there again.

Went for our Team Christmas Lunch. Everything was just as ordered. Great service and the food was lovely. Especially impressed with the new Yorkshire Pudding beef wrap - they should keep this on the menu it was gorgeous.

This is the best place to go for food and drinks. The food is brilliant every time and the staff are really good. We have been here numerous times and never had a bad experience. Would highly recommend!

This place looks lovely and has a great menu, hence we were sitting at the wonderful Nut Hatch next door we decided to book in. However, after booking and having a confirmation - we entered and were told they’d been working since breakfast and we should have also called. Confusing concept to allow people to book if you don’t want custom. It was 8:20pm. The food is fine and portions are large but that welcome was really off putting and perhaps they should only allow phone bookings.

We had the bacon Brie cranberry burger over priced needs more bacon and Brie not very tasty to be honest. Not sure why it was £4 more than the normal burger ? For £16 did expect fries of some description. Will stick to the wings and happy fries in future
