I visited Giorgio’s for the second time at the weekend. I was very happy with the service on both occasions. The staff are really friendly and very attentive, they kept coming to the table to check if we needed anything which was nice. The food is delicious with generous portion sizes. It’s real authentic Italian food, just like you get in Sicily. Despite there being several of us, the food was always cooked and served quickly. What I like most about this restaurant is the great atmosphere, the amazing staff working there and the all around good vibes make Giorgio’s a fantastic place to eat out. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to the team for great service!

Amazing restaurant, the food was phenomenal! The service was excellent, allowing us to sample wines before we chose, making recommendations of wine to compliment our food. Simon was approachable and friendly and made regular effort to engage with his customers. This was my first time, will definitely be going back and bringing more friends to dine there. Beautiful.

Came for Tapas on the last Saturday of the month. It was absolutely fantastic! Perfect portion sizes, plenty of choice, delicious food! Will definitely be back, thank you so much!

Loved it, nice set up with really friendly staff Food was lovely & the owner was round everyone's table chatting Great location for anyone staying nearby the cricket/Rugby ground I stayed at the Village Hotel & walked down Otley Road, took 10 mins Nice busy area so few pubs around by Giorgio's Definitely returning

Yummy, comforting Italian food with really friendly service. Only reason didn’t give it 5/5 for atmosphere is because we were eating early with the kids, before most diners. Really great place!

We have been looking for a local authentic Italian for ages and this ticked every box. Amazing food, great service and staff and a good atmosphere in the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!

My first visit to Mistal yesterday (although many to the Cheerful Chilli, in the past) and a thoroughly enjoyable lunch, made even better by having our dog under the table. My Eggs Benny was to die for, with lashings of divine Hollandaise. I absolutely have to return to eat that again. Lovely quiet atmosphere in an idyllic location; an opportunity to walk off the indulgence of so much butter!

Absolutely delicious Greek food in a relaxed and atmospheric environment. Have eaten at The Aegean many times now and never been disappointed. Excellent service and fresh, beautifully cooked food.

Warm welcome when we arrived and drinks arrived promptly. Good variety on the menu, had the Bao buns to start and they were excellent and followed with the beef and onion wellington which was likewise. Friendly and efficient service throughout. Highly recommended.

One of the best meals I have had in a very long time The restaurant is fantastic the ambience and the warm welcome we received along with the great food was worth travelling the 16 miles for. The menu was varied and very good value for money. It's nice to have staff that listen to the customers as they fulfilled all our unquestioning was too much trouble for them. We were told to book in advance and I can see why now. We had the Haloumi starter that was so light and refreshing change for us.followed by the house burger which was fantastic the wife has the beef Wellington parcel and that was scrumptious. We did need a break before we had our Desert the Sticky Toffee Pudding which was delicious. Overall a very good meal in wonderful surroundings.

Ate twice while staying at the Craven Arms both meals were really nice especially the braised beef wellington . Breakfast was great too. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Always love the atmosphere in Luna blu, whether midweek dinner or weekend drinks. Tapas is delicious. Staff always welcoming, efficient and friendly.

We had a works evening meal here. Great food and great service. We were looked after extremely well and the waitress that looked after our rather large and high spirited table was superb. She was so spot on with everything and had a great nature and interaction with us. Ist class

Group of 4 people for lunch. No allergies but we were asked nonetheless (brownie points!). Prices were reasonable given it is a city centre in York. Impressive interior - so much to look at & provide interesting topics for talking! Toilets can do with attention - aesthetically & functionally. Couldnt face dessert, even though it looked fab! First time visit & would look forward to a return. Would definitely recommend.
