Sambuca Ristorante Morley – MorleyHaving eaten previously, during the afternoon, at the Cow Shed, this was our first visit to their new Friday evening dinner session (also running on Saturdays). The ambience is warm and (dog) friendly and the staff polite and welcoming. The views from the seating on the covered decking are breathtaking, looking out over Fraisthorpe Beach to Bridlington on the left and Hornsea on the right. The menu choice is adequate, focussed on steaks (must be pre-ordered), burgers, etc. with some Gluten-Free options. However, the cooking is spot on, with dishes always delivered exactly as requested - no sending steaks back because they’re rare or medium when cremated was the ordered; unusually, when no garnish is requested that is exactly what you get. All in all a fantastic treaty meal, incredible value for money given the quality of the food and surroundings.

Giorgios Ristorante Italiano – HeadingleyWe were firstly disappointed when we arrived at the restaurant that there was no cocktail menu, as there had been one on the website, although the bartender did offer to make anything we wanted. Sadly, it turned out that most of the information on the website was not current. We were only offered an early bird menu, despite it being well after the early bird time, and this only had pub standards on it. Having been looking forward to the a la carte menu, this was disappointing, as we wanted a more restaurant quality meal, and so we decided not to stay. The staff could not have been nicer, but it was clear that we were not the first couple by a long chalk to make the observation about the website not being current. We asked for our feedback to be passed on to the owner.
Vine – MiddlesbroughWe had lunch 3 weeks ago and ate a lovely sandwich, coleslaw, and red onion, the bagett was lovely and warm. Sadly this time the meal was not as good , no red onion salad and the bread not as fresh

Zero atmosphere, no music or background noise so you’re forced to listen to everyone around you eating and scraping their plates, food took forever to come out and then it was lukewarm, dry microwaved rubbish. Decor is dated and old fashioned. Just not good at all. It has such potential but it’s just naff with no atmosphere or character.

The Crown Monk Fryston – GarforthIdeal location for lunch before heading to Headingley for The Hundred. Had early bird special which is excellent value for money. Food and service also excellent. The place itself is great, it’s like being in somebody’s front room. Thoroughly recommend and we’ll go again.
Thai Sabai – HeadingleyThe cafe is fabulous but I think the food let it down, we had breakfast, I had poached egg of which were both hard, I didn't feel as though I could say something due to the head waitress being quite spikey. A women you wouldn't want to cross. All in all I found my experience not a very good one

The deco is lovely and bright and lovely Greek music in the background. Only slight negative was that the staff didn’t offer a jug of water for the table and ask if we wanted any more drinks, but they were friendly .
