Back for a second time in 6 weeks. This time had : Tuna sashimi Yellow fin sushi Soft shell crab (again) Seaweed salad Miso Ramen So banging, mad mad place

Dined here a few times as it brings back lovely memories of Greece The Greek food is amazing and very tasty. Staff were very courteous and made sure everything was perfect Can't wait to go back

SIMPLY THE BEST IN TOWN- YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS RATHER EXCELLENT PLACE FOR FOOD- SERVICE- SENSIBLE PRICING - NICE STAFF AND PARKING WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE- YOU'LL NEED TO BOOK AS WE SEE MOST PEOPLE WHO WALK IN BEING TURNED AWAY. NLITTLE SICILY HAS YET TO DISAPPOINT AND I'VE NOT HEARD ANYONE COME AWAY DISAPPOINTED. WE'LL BE GOING REGULARLY.

Menu more limited than shown on website which was disappointing for the pescatarian in our party. However the food we had was very good and service was efficient and friendly. We were the only people eating on a Friday night which felt a bit weird and in fact there were only about 3 other people there, but live music made the atmosphere livelier than it would otherwise have been. The building is really interesting and this could be a wonderful place for a night out. Please please please update your website as we came from outside the area and chose the restaurant based on the menu!

Fantastic little restaurant serving authentic Asian tapas, some of the dishes and flavours I had never experienced before and all were delicious. The pork in the signature Sri Lankan curry dish melted in the mouth and the mini burgers were to die for. The service was excellent, with the lady chef coming out to each table to check the food was OK and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Good sized portions and very reasonably priced I would strongly recommend Brooks.

We had meal on Saturday night what can I say it was one of the best Italian meals we have had, nothing was a a bother to them, absolutely fabulous will go back.

Atmosphere and service was amazing. Food was perfect, one of the best steaks I've had. Hats off to the new chef. Price is certainly worth your money. The website needs updating and a cocktail menu would be helpful however this did not negatively affect my experience at all.

Really lovely night was had at the Crown. Great friendly service and delicious tapas food. Will definitely be returning.

Fuji Hiro was a pleasant dining experience, at great value. Despite coming in with a 16-person party, it is safe to say that everyone enjoyed their food there and left satisifed with the overall experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, food was timely and served in immaculate condition and presentation. Personally I always order the sashimi here as the fish they carry is delicious and not expensive. Nitpicking would lead me to say that the menus are a little hard to navigate with so many options. Will be my go-to japanese restaurant for a good experience.

Fantastic meal and great service. The attention to detail was excellent and the chocolate brownie dessert is not to be missed! Great value in a lovely setting.

Excellent authentic Chinese food, we where on holiday in York & stayed at the premier inn a short walk away.

We visited for afternoon tea that was purchased as a gift for my birthday. I had visited previously for coffee and cake and was very impressed but unfortunately this wasn't the case this time. We arrived just after reopening from a refurbishment. We waited 25 minutes from our original booking time for the afternoon tea to arrive. The bread buns were not the freshest! with no choice of fillings. The small cakes/ treats were nice enough. I don't like to complain but when it came to the scones they had been warmed but were rock hard in the centre. The lady that served us was very attentive and took them away and eventually we were presented with 2 new grilled scones. I'm not sure why the food wasn't fresh and I feel it was a lot of money for the lack of quality. Maybe we were unfortunate to visit when they weren't quiet ready to reopen!

We ate on Monday 24th October. The atmosphere what really good and the food was excellent as it had been when we have eaten at Oscars.
