Great service and meal, staff were very attentive as every meal we have had there. Always love going back and can't remember the amount of times my wife and i have been there either for lunch an evening meal or to celebrate something special.

Each time I visit Maxis, I’m asked to review the experience., and each time I have to report that everything about this Restaurant is excellent. On this occasion however, there was a bonus. As it was Valentines Day, my wife was presented with a gift as we left. It was a beautifully boxed, polished Heart, which we believe is made out of Soapstone A bonus indeed to a fabulous meal Thank you Maxis

We love this place, atmosphere is amazing. Love the style of the resturant and the food. The food was amazing last night, one of our favourite restaurants.

We came here for our valentines meal and would just like to say the staff were super friendly, the place was packed (but service was still great despite this) and the food was really excellent! We will definitely be back. Thanks to all at Giorgio’s for a great night.

Excellent as always

After a long walk we sat for Sunday lunch. The food was absolutely fantastic! In addition, the staff were very attentive and super friendly. And importantly, the beer was cold and excellent! I can’t recommend this place highly enough and shall certainly be back.

What a lovely tradition pub with its great food, service and beer / wine. Having not been before we were really very happy with the Duke Of Wellington, will go again, thank you

Booking was easy online. We were greeted on arrival by friendly staff and guided to the bar to order drinks. The place was busy but not overwhelmingly so After a short wait we were shown to our table. The food was delicious and fresh, I particularly enjoyed the homemade chicken liver pate, the yorkshire puddings and perfectly cooked pink roast beef. Wil definitely recommend and return, especially looking forward to summer for the outdoor experience.

Food was amazing and so was the atmosphere, we have been coming here for a few years now and have always loved it here, however I do miss the saxophone player on a Saturday night. The cocktails are amazing also. The only problem was the staff, we had one girl who was serving us when we were asking her for drinks etc she was saying ‘2 minutes I just need to find out your table number and asked another waiteess Infront of us’ and ‘2 minutes I need to get someone else to write that down’ we also asked her for 2 pints of lager her response ‘what is it , 2 minutes I’ll just find out, I said it’s the lager that’s on draft it’s what we have been drinking all night, she said ‘2 minutes’ I just found the staff to be a little bit all over the plane and not professional. I work in a restaurant and would be more discrete about not knowing what I was doing if I was put in that situation. Other than that amazing night and would definitely return. Also the 10% service charge wasn’t mentioned to us , I would recommend telling people before they pay the bill so they have the choice to opt out

Loving the new location and updated restaurant Service great Food and drinks all really good. We especially enjoyed the courgette cakes and the chicken souvlaki. Looking forward to visiting again

Lovely friendly staff and great food !

We had the 3 course for £20 it was very nice I had the garlic mushrooms then the king prawn linguine and the cheese board the food was delicious the cheeseboard could of been a bit better with fruit and more crackers and even butter. The atmosphere was great very cosy and warm the staff were exceptional we had a wonderful night.

We have only every had drinks here, but this time had the special set Surf and Turf tapas. It was fantastic, portion size was perfect and tasted fantastic. Needs to be on the main menu. Service as always was excellent, issue with booking online but this was sorted straight away, staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive.

This was our second visit to Brooks and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and the small, tapas-style portions mean that you get to try lots of different things from the menu. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. I was just disappointed that I was driving so I couldn’t have an orange espresso martini! Highly recommend.
