Lovely Sunday Lunch! Mash was one of the best we have ever tasted, fast and wonderful service

Enjoyed a lovely meal here, however menu was very limited, and the portion size is only small. I found the small restaurant lacking in atmosphere, but would go back as the food was spot on

Hi We visited Saturday night first time since closure due to pandemic. Food was fantastic although portions small for the price. No mouse bouche anymore or Maître D waiting to greet. Saddened to see completely new staff, recognised about two faces. Music too loud I thought as could not hear ourselves speaking. There use to be a saxophonist and pianist? The lady who looked after us as well as the service was fantastic. We told her the cheese board needs to return and she said a lot of people had asked so it will return. I noted the client group were not as nice as before, big mistake adding parmesans to the menu, I liked the fact that the Vine was high end restaurant, only one in Middlesbrough, some reviewing is needed we feel.

I discovered this place as a convenient location for a sunny day pint but have discovered that the food and service is also lovely

Good food delivered by efficient friendly staff in grand but cosy surroundings. The service best illustrated by our desire for the Eton mess shown on the web site but not on the menu No problem, the chef at the request of our waiter produced said Eton messes.

Excellent evening meal and cooked breakfast, good service, friendly staff, clean and comfortable accommodation.

We waited nearly an hour to be served. Our battered fish was greasy and frankly not a good standard.

We were VERY disapointed both with the food and the grumpy service, please and thank you would de nice. The fried Hadock was very oily, we have had mutch better, and certaily bettee at our home town chippy!! It was sooooo disapointing as we were looking forward to it, our advice is don't waste your money or time, go somewhere else. And before this review gets slagged off, we spoke to some locals who said don't bother before we went, but we had already booked, we wish we had taken the advice.

Superb experience from start to finish. A warm welcome on the door, great service and delish food. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely brilliant. Loved my fish pie. My partner he had fish and chips and he said they were the best fish and chips he’s ever had. Great service and felt very safe and good Covid protection
