Really lovely evening, food was fab, service and staff were super attentive. Big shout out to Otis really pleasant young man.

Hull’s not exactly know for its food scene with major city’s only a 40 mins train away. However that being said this is a very impressive Mexican restaurant couldn’t fault the food and service. Very impressed. Don’t mess around get a few small plates and tacos and feast away..

Another great evening at my favourite restaurant in Bridlington. Always great service, atmosphere and of course the food (chefs kiss emoji)!

Visited for the 1st time on Sunday evening for the carvery as my sister was visiting from down South. Gorgeous place, the bar is so warm and cosy with the fire going and the carvery was excellent! The beef was cooked to perfection, didn't need a knife to cut it and it melted in your mouth! If I could have asked for a portion of that to take away, I would have! Really great price as well. Had the sherry trifle for dessert and it was yummy! Will be booking again and will definitely be recommending.

I came back to Hull for my birthday, and Food for Cowboys had been highly recommended to me. And it was DEFINITELY the right choice. Mexican food is my favourite, and it was even better than what I ate in the actual country. The choice was impressive, the quality amazing and the price reasonable. The cocktails are some of the best I’ve ever had, and the staff are so warm and friendly. Can’t wait to come back here again. Thank you for such a wicked evening!

Held our annual Walkers’ Christmas Lunch at The Bay Horse, a resounding success, thank you. Twenty five of us enjoyed delicious food in comfy surroundings. Some had a starter, all ate a main and some followed with a pud. Timely serving to each of us of all courses

I booked the whole cafe space for a group of 10 who had never met before and came together as part of a home school network. We had a lovely time and it was a quiet atmosphere for people to get to know each other. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning. The staff were lovely.

A very welcoming atmosphere, delicious food and exemplary service. What more can you ask. There were seven of us in our party and everyone praised their meal. Any questions about dishes were answered fully. The service was prompt and we all greatly satisfied with the whole experience. We will be back.

It's very rare these days you get excellent food with a perfect atmosphere. This place had both and it was a real change to experience food how it should be. Fresh, and perfectly planned food. We would recommend

Beautiful food as always with excellent service

A party of 8 of us had our evening meal on Friday and Saturday 12th and 13th December. Our food was excellent although we thought the menu could have had more choice. We normally sit at a long table just round to the left of the entrance into the dining room. This time it was in front of the fire and it was far too hot to sit there in comfort. Two of our party had to move away especially on the Saturday evening. Better back where it was we all agreed.

We had an excellent experience during our visit to Tanvis Restaurant. The elegantly decorated ambiance, complemented by classical music, created a welcoming atmosphere, and the attentive service provided by the staff was greatly appreciated. We attended the breakfast buffet, where each dish—including poori, dosa, and various chutneys—was exceptionally flavourful. We highly recommend Tanvis to anyone seeking high-quality Indian cuisine in Wakefield.

Beautiful cosy village pub. We stayed next door so booked a meal at the bay horse . Everyone was very welcoming . Menu choice was good . Food was delicious. Enjoyed it so much we booked for our second night . Definitely return . Pub was. Yay both nights we were there .

Great food, great restaurant and couldn't have been more helpful. We enjoyed private dining for a party of 13 with our own music on speaker. The 13 different meals all arrived at the same time piping hot and delicious. Highly recommended.

We were a party of 5 and 3 of us had the burger and was very disappointed. Burgers were obviously frozen Birds Eye type and tasting it took me back to my childhood but as I am not 12 anymore was left feeling very underwhelmed. Didn’t help seeing someone if chief’s whites walk through as had just nipped out and walked in with a bag of frozen onion rings. To be fair I had the fish with noodles and that was nice but was missing the veg that it was advertised with. Won’t hurry back which is a real shame.

A wonderful family evening, made even more special by the attentiveness of the staff. Highly recommended for good food and cosy atmosphere. See you next year.
