red chilli restaurant in york ? after we have try it, we can say you must come and try it yourself it is out of this world and not just saying it. must go booked a big party to night for 40 people and it is my girl friend's birthday. ha ha happy birthday to her.

The exterior belies the interior. When inside you are genuinely transported beyond the confines of the UK. The Menu the staff and the surroundings confirm your adventure into the culinary delights of a strange and bizarre, to the uninitiated, world. Thai food is simply delicious and this is as good as it gets. I think it's as good as the renowned Nancy Lam's in Lavender Hill. I heartily recommend this restaurant.

Excellent decor and fantastic night out...the food the staff were brilliant. especially the new Bengali dishes that they have now.

aldos is a very fine restaurant ,but because it is fine i do not advise going on a Friday or a Saturday evening as it is very loud and you could and will no doubt have to wait 1 hour approx for a table as they do not take bookings from my experience of the establishment. the staff are very friendly and probably the best around in the area which is a credit to the restaurant. however i had king prawns in a garlic sauce ,which was ok only!they were done butterfly.its much better grilled in garlic with the shell left as it should be as its so much easier to eat and the sauce does not make the sauce soggy! its a nice place folks and the food is genuinely good but it could do with a few finer pointers on the menu and wine list especially

have been a great fan since it opened many many years ago and went nearly every week. But beware - things have changed (probably to pay for the new signs and other bits n bats!!!) Fine if you want fancy pasta etc with wood pigeon??? No thanks. No more free bread when seated - 10% service charge added even for a table for 2. I could go on and on!! Also, my husband complained about blocked urinals - a waiter did go and mop up the leakage then came back to the restaurant area, placed the mop and bucket down and continued to serve with NO hand washing. 2 weeks later - the same situation - urinals not mended. Will not visit again

They were in The Times last Saturday, as the best pizza restaurant in the UK, so we went on the following Monday. It was 'heaving', a good sign for any restaurant on a Monday! The pizzas were fantastic, and the staff gave us great service, Bravo Salvo's

We used this pub once before on a trip to Barnsley. It quickly catered for a coach load of us without any fuss, the landlord Glen & his staff were very welcoming & efficient, the food was wholesome & good value & quickly served, I would not hesitate to recommend this pub to anyone

Our family has been dining at the Bon Viveur for nearly 30years and have always enjoyed a very personal and consistently good dining experience. However- recently the restaurant has changed hands. No longer is the dining experience personal, and no longer are the meals good. There are no crisps on the table as you arrive, and the salad on the table is missing a few ingredients. Not only is that it obviously prepared hours before opening as it is quite wilted by the time you sit down for the meal. The new menu is more of a brasserie menu, and although the new courses sound appetising they are clumsily executed. Comments our party made on our last visit during the starters and main courses were either over salted or completely insipid. After a dis-satisfactory meal we received no apology only a flippant comment by one of the staff which was "I tasted it and thought it was fine". In summary, the Bonviveur is not what it used to be a local pub can provide a more welcoming and better cooked meal at a fraction of the price..

excellent place! very appealing menu's with plenty choice. Was equally impressed with all the food we received, The service staff we're very polite and attentive. Will be back soon. 10/10!!!

Worth the 20 mins wait!!! We've visited this restaurant several times and by 'eck does it get better every time. On our last visit we plumped for the traditional fish 'n chips. Huge portion, would have been a shame to leave any!! If you have got a room left, try their homemade chocolate truffles, bring on the heart attack!

Very rapid but rather impersonal service. Of four diners and 2 courses only one, the goats cheese starter was up to standard. Mussles notably over cooked with others dishes remarkably bland. A disappointing experience. Wine was however good.

Fantastic!!! We visit this lovely eatery on a regular basis, and are never disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the food fantastic. Great buzz about the place, go on try for yourself!!

We went here for a meal for a change rather than a take-away. It's been a while since we've been in and they have redecorated the insides. It feels really modern and light, but still feels like a Chinese place. The food is still great and the portion sizes are good. I especially love the aromatic duck which never tastes the same when I get it at home. I think I just like the way they shred it in front of you in the restaurant. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. I'd definitely eat here again.

this restaurant is very good iv been lots of time they attend to your every need and the food is excellent and its it doesnt break the bank so allinall i rate it ten out of ten

Sajid is an well employed chef who is the owner of Nawaab khan. His staff is outstanding and food is excellent. I would love to go there again i have mentioned this to my friends. To tell the truth i have to say this is 10 timed better than Akbars or any other restaurants in leeds.
