Me & my Dad went to kebabeesh yesterday, and found it to be modern, snappy and served good food. We started with popadoms, and our only gripe here was that the sauces were, although plentiful, not very different. Although the mint one was good! (sorry i dont know the correct name!) Then, we had prawn tika and sheek kebabs for starters. The prawn tika was the best dish we had that evening! We only got 5 prawns (but what can you expect at a low price?) but they were really tasty! the sheek kebabs were good too, but not so much of a surprise. Then we moved on to the main course... Kebabeesh have an excellent range of naan breads! We chose Spicy potato & coriander naan, wich was absolutely incredible! We also had Green chilli & coriander naan, but that wasn't as good as the 1st, and we would recommend you try a more interessting naan bread, as the more interesting one for us was the better one! The currys we had were Chicken Madras and Lamb and ginger balti. The ginger really complemented the lamb and the chicken was nicely spiced. We asked for both of these to be "hot", and found this to be a mistake! Especially with the two spicy naans. We also had daal wich was good... We chose to have dessert, which was fine to cool off with... i had a honey pot, and dad had a pistachio ice cream thingy, both were nice and cooled the mouth off. Dad had a Cobra, and i drank water. The total bill was just over £30, wich, is very comparable to nawaab, and other well known curry houses. ~The service was quick and friendly, almost too much in fact! anyways, this is a curry house that we will be revisiting with the whole family next time... And they have such an extensive recipie, they even do non-spicy dishes! The recipie on their website is very accurate... **HIGHLY RECOMENDED**
