First time ( well over due ) for us and the food was amazing, very tasty and plentiful. The staff were amazing , attentive in just the right way and their knowledge of the menu was very helpful and nothing was too much to ask , the menus were explained so we could make the great choices we decided on . We originally booked as a party of 9 for New Years Eve and specifically requested the party room, which is advertised as having a dj, Greek dancers and a belly dancer. Unfortunately, 5 of our party tested positive for covid, which we informed you of but confirmed the other 4 would still be attending for the event. On arrival at the restaurant, we were directed to a table on the ground floor. I did as two members of staff if this was correct, as we had booked the party room upstairs, however, we were informed that the party night would take place over both floors. Needless to say, the 4 who attended the event were extremely disappointed when there was no dj or Greek dancers. A belly dancer did appear for approximately 10 minutes, however , the event did not consistent of what had been promoted and therefore, it has either been falsely advertised or we were placed in the incorrect seating at the restaurant. We tried to discuss with a manager on the night however, we were told that there wasn't a manager in the Aigburth restaurant and that we would have to wait until Tuesday 4th January to discuss further. We paid for a party night and this was not delivered.

It is our local whenever we are in town with great food, fantastc staff and a rockin atmosphere. For the complete night out Clockwork is the only place to go.

We went for our New Years Eve Meal , there was a special set menu with such a generous choice of dishes included in the amazing set price. The restaurant was beautiful as usual with lovely festive decor. We were really pleased with our seating didn’t feel claustrophobic on a very busy night. The food was outstanding as always cooked to perfection and presentation mouth watering. There were so many starters, a choice of mains and even a desert to finish off delicious. The drinks menu is something for everyone lovely wines, beers and attractive cocktails too, fabulous The Team are always so friendly and professional and looked after us perfectly especially on a very busy night. Thank you for a gorgeous evening I always do and will continue to recommend this magical restaurant and cannot wait to visit again. Love from Sibelle and Dave

Never disappoints!

I visited Christakis last night with my boyfriend as I wanted to treat him, this is the 2nd time I have been here and they have been brilliant once again. Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere and great service. This place is quickly becoming one of my favourites and I'm looking forward to many more visits.

Fantastic food and excellent service. It's very rare to find a place that does northern Thai food in the UK- best khow soi , sai ua and som tum I've had outside of Thailand!

Excellent meze. Great staff, nothing was too much trouble, quick and efficient service especially on New Year's Eve. Would have liked a little ambient low lighting but still lovely.

Booked for New Year’s Eve and was very disappointed to find out the set menu on the website was not available despite it not saying ANYWHERE on the website that you needed to preorder. Was left with a menu of basically sandwiches. Server didn’t look like she wanted to be there at all. Live music made up for it a bit but was a little loud at times
