Salvatore’s – SouthportI was among the 30 guest present at the 21st Saturday evening and my experience and that of the group I was with, is in totalal contrast to the review relating to the same evening. We found the management attentive, polite. The food was not ordered at 7.30 so it is misleading to comment on the waiting time at 9.30. We found the food was hot ,well presented and tasty. Management was a credit to Manzo . We will return and would recommend .
Fajitas Fusion Cantina – Liverpool OneHi, I eat at the restaurant with a group of four friends and I found the food really nice. Our party had a range of things, we tried the burger, steak and the ribs; the desserts were really good too. The staff are friendly, maybe need to be a little bit more clued up about options on the menu (probably just getting used to the name and menu change). Over all I was satisfied and will most probably return to try a few other things on the menu. PS I usually review on trip advisor but couldn’t find a page.
Fajitas Fusion Cantina – Liverpool OneI visited East z East Liverpool last year after going to see John Bishop at the Echo Arena as a birthday treat by my daughter. The decor is very nice and the atmosphere very relaxing. The staff were faultless and very attentive and even asked the chef to cook something for me which wasn't even on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. I look forward to visiting this restaurant very soon. As for the criticisms of other reviewers, I truly believe they were in another place because it bares no description to anything they say. As for critics about the price, you get what you pay for. If you want fast food, discourteous staff then I suggest you stick to Macdonalds and leave East z East to us more discerning clientele.!
East z East – Liverpool City CentreWhat an absolutely awful experience we had at this restaurant. The management and staff were beyond incompetent. Sat down with party of 30 guests for a 21st birthday celebration at 7.30pm on a Saturday evening, food eventually arrived at 9.30pm. Last dinner was delivered 25 minutes after the first one. Food arrived cold, sauces dried out. Waited an age for drinks orders, then on the bill the prices did not match the menu - this restaurant adds on a surcharge not advertised to all drinks! When quietly trying to complain to management in the hope some discretion would be applied to the bill, and an apology, management would not take any responsibility and did not feel quality of service was poor. An absolutely woeful venue, DO NOT VISIT MANZO LIVERPOOL!!!!!
Fajitas Fusion Cantina – Liverpool OneEnjoyed a fabulous meal in this quirky and unusual setting. Liverpool One Bridewell. All our group were impressed with the meals we ordered but oh....The Irish Stew was just gorgeous, huge portion with cabbage and a big wedge of crusty loaf for only £5....what a bargain! Eating in former cells is both entertaining and cosy. We will be back!
Liverpool One Bridewell – Liverpool City CentreThis restaurant is the best in Crosby/Waterloo area. The food is so tasty, has a real fresh, clean taste, similar to Indian food but better. Excellent value for money, we'll be going back.
Da Gurkha Fine Dining – Waterlooliberty tavern has something for everyone's taste buds. If you don't like any of the food in here then you would be truly hard to please. Excellent all round.
Liberty Tavern – WooltonThe Elephant and The Liberty Tavern next door are apparently owned by celebrity chef Simon Rimmer. I like the look of the place. It has a relaxed feel. Not too trendy or contemporary or not wallowing in nostalgia either. My chicken and pesto pizza was very good, though my wife was not over excited about her soup. Service was very good and the waiter did a good job of pushinhg their sister establishment next door. Will try that next time I reckon.
The Elephant – WooltonI didn't realise what a great function suite Ying Wah had. It's on the second floor with it's own bar. We went for a party the other day and were very well catered for!
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonDecided to come here with my family for birthday wish I never did!! Absolutely disgusting food, disgusting service. Chicken was grey and when we told the waiter he just started laughing. Absolutely appalling.
New China Garden – West DerbyI have been coming to the Gate of India for about 20 years now and I've never been disappointed. the food is fantastic and the staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome. Would recommend to anyone. If you live in the waterloo area and have never been, get yourself down there!
Gate Of India – WaterlooChicken Chow Main we had went in the bin, chicken was slimy. Not happy.
Scotch Barn Supper Bar / Lucky Jade – PrescotHi Ann, just wanted the say a huge thank you for organising Jack's christening yesterday. We all had an amazing day and the staff and venue are brilliant. Thanks again for having us. Tina, John & baby Jack.
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreJust got a meal from there and the meat was dead chewy it had lots of onions in it, come on Gerry. That meal was crap.
George Gerry’s – BootleI ordered chicken kebabs from the menu. The owner told me they don't do chicken kebabs and that I was moaning when I asked her why this item is on the menu when they clearly don't serve it. Her reply was that other people don't moan they just order another meal - poor deluded individual they do comment but just not to her. I have been a regular customer since my late teens some 30 years ago. The new management have no customer skills and food standards have declined rapidly. I won't be giving them my custom again,
The White Horse – WooltonMy daughter and I absolutely love the Tea Rooms and the surrounding atmosphere, now we always come here for lunch when we visit Southport. Love the detail and quirkiness of the style, its like stepping back in time!. The food and service are excellent, very good value for money.
Nostalgia Tea Rooms – SouthportPopped in for a meal with my sister. Amazing food, restaurant is beautifully done to the highest standard, really friendly staff, would recommend anyone to pay it a visit.
