I live right by Ho's and cant believe I have always travelled far to find a nice Chinese restaurant, when all along this was right round the corner from me. Best prawn toast and salt an pepper wings I've had.

I booked your restaurant for a group of 16 on 16 Octoberfor a birthday celebration, whilst we all agreed the food was great one of our guests however was slightly delayed in traffic and arrived 30 mins after we arrived. I have just found out that one of the waitresses informed him he would have to hurry up and order his food as we only had the table for 2 hours! I was not at any time told that we only had the table for a limited time as i would not of booked if this had been the case. we did however leave by 9pm but I am disapointed that this was said to one of my guests as he said he felt under pressure and did not therefore enjoy his dining experience as i have eaten at your restaurant many times and had said how friendly the staff were. This has left a bitter taste to be honest and I do not know if I will return again.

Fish, chips and gravy is the best (gravy has mushrooma and onions).

Went for our daughter's birthday and we were so looked after. We had a fantastic night the food was as always gorgeous. Thank you.

Excellent food, the best full English ever!! Also tried their roast dinners delivered to your door amazing all fresh veg. Definitely worth a visit mmmm

Brilliant! We went here for my dads birthday a couple of months ago, food is beautiful, nice set up and surroundings, staff friendly, took the time to speak with us, we have been back twice since and are going again this weekend for my mums birthday. Would definitley recommend this restaurant.

Excellent place in southport, we went here after the nabba Britain finals and was great plenty of food and special memories from the day here would recommend!

This is a seriously good restaurant. Décor to a minimum and ambiance plain and average, but food and service out of this world. It is a place where to go, eat and go home, and what you eat is generous and very reasonably priced. It would be nice if it had a bar area to chill out.

I've been to this restaurant yesterday for the first time moved by curiosity....after I've read Lucarne's review. Well, I am very grateful to this guy in a funny sort of way, because I found out for myself that this is the best Italian restaurant by miles in Lancashire. To my surprise I knew the chef when he was working in Manchester in the best Italian restaurant outside London, and he is still cooking top notch. I know where am going to eat regularly now! Thank you!

We visited this beautiful restaurant on Sunday 15th of September with our eldest Son & his fiance, who were over to visit from Hong Kong & we were so impressed. The atmosphere was wonderful & the staff were so friendly, professional & attentive. The food was fantastic. The huge log fire was fabulous & added to the warm, beautiful atmosphere of this super establishment. We will certainly be returning & would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you to all at Sheldrakes !!

went on saturday 14th with my partner and got to say we were very disapointed the starter had to be sent back because it was cold and very greasey,then my main wich was roast pork loin was dry flavourless on par with a bad school dinner left almost all of it and came home hungry,was expecting a higher standard

We go there every Saturday evening en route to a cinema or show,excellent service WITH A SMILE may we add, Iwould definitely recommend it to anyone.

Amazing, my first visit but it won't be my last, warm friendly atmosphere, the food was the best Italian that I have ever eaten. I highly recommend you pay a visit. Cazzy D

First time here and just on customer service alone would not be coming back. No interaction with customers and an unacceptable amount of time to wait for a meal 40 minutes it eventually came Unhappy customer.
