Royal Tandoori Restaurant – WavertreeThe best Indian Restaurant in the North West possibly the UK. The hot chili sauce for the poppadoms is simply amazing along with the onion bahji and lemon/mint sauce. My all time favourite dish has got to be the Hot Buttered Chicken, mouth watering. I have been coming to The Royal Tandoori for 20 years and I have never found better!
Royal Tandoori Restaurant – WavertreeI love Piccolino's and regularly go there on special occasions. The staff are always very attentive and the food is fantastic. You don't feel pressured to leave, in fact it feels like they like you being there. A*****
Piccolino – Liverpool City CentreWe are recent visitors to Le Boulevard and are very impressed with the standard of food and service. There is a good choice of dishes at reasonable prices. The cooks and serving staff are very friendly and helpful. We would gladly recommend Le Boulevard and look forward to going back soon ourselves.
Le Boulevard – Southportwe really enjoyed the day we had at your restaurant food was lovely and the staff really made the day we are coming back for mother's day and can't wait and i am coming back for my birthday.
Pietra Bar and Restaurant – WaterlooVisited with friends on Saturday evening, 11 February. Good reviews, an inviting website and an extensive menu led us to book here for the first time. First impressions were very good, the welcome, the inviting reception area, the atmosphere. We ordered a banquet for four and service was friendly and efficient to start with. Things started very well with the appetisers, which were delicious, but gradually went downhill with a very long wait between courses when it seemed we had been forgotten for about 25 minutes. Following a reminder, the food finally arrived but was cold and unappetising; the main courses that followed were distinctly below average and again on the cold side and were mainly left uneaten. Add to this a mistake with the drinks order, the poor quality of the food, the restaurant was cold and draughty and the staff seemed to be rushed off their feet. To summarise, a very expensive mistake that we will not be repeating in the future.
Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.Helenswe went for the hot rock buddy system which was a great experience we added starters and dessert of chocolate pot which was amazingly naughty the food was all lovely but what stood out the most was the service, so friendly and welcoming this is top of the list of why we will be going back asap atmosphere so relaxing and the prices are really good for the level of excellence they provide :)))))
Astoria – West KirbyWell priced, and always made to feel welcome by the friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Sing Ping – PrescotWent for lunch at the Fat Italian on Christmas Eve with a large family party. the food and atmosphere were excellent and the grilled sardines I had as a starter were one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. Highly recommended.
The Fat Italian – CrosbyBeen here quiet a few times now. Food is amazing, service is brilliant . Would recommend to anyone.
Asiana – West DerbyRun in a far too business-like fashion. We were told, on booking, that we would have to leave at 9.30. I objected to this at the time. Our bill came to £200 and I do not expect to pay that and be in the restaurant two hours. There were far too many tables and the noise was awful. We could barely hear each other .My fish was nearly raw. I would not return. There is no atmosphere.
Chaophraya – Liverpool City Centrewe had lunch today, Sunday 5th November 2012. A lovely meal, well cooked and well presented. The staff were caring and catered to all of our needs. We had children in the party and they provided a children's portion of ribs which suited our four year old granddaughter down to the ground. This was our first visit, we will definitely visit again.,
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreZeera is still the best( and that includes our visit to Atul Kocher which was good) and the staff, food and atmosphere cannot be beaten. Had a superb meal on Friday, when we tried the set menu. You must try it. Looking forward to our next visit on Thursday. This restaurant is a jewel in the wirral crown.
Zeera Tandoori – HeswallI went to Nicola's on Friday the 4th of February and am afraid to say i had a real bad experience and was left feeling embarrassed after inviting a friend all the way from town to Waterloo. I ordered Gambas and these turned out to be ex frozen, probably steamed and rubbery with a salad dressing, no garlic sauce, probably a thousand islands dressing and the presentation left lots to be desired,.... six prawns, that sauce and a withered salad on the side, then the main course was pork in a nice creamy sauce, but alas, the pork was so over cooked, it crumbled in my mouth... on complaining to the waiter, he said sorry..... and sent another waiter to attend to us..... I will definitely not be returning or recommending the restaurant..
Nicola’s Ristorante – WaterlooTheir vegetable fried rice is delicious. Maicee Express is a takeaway with a few solid wood tables in case you want to eat in. You can watch the food being cooked which is fun. The portions are good and it's like restaurant food at slightly higher than standard takeaway prices. It opens at 4pm on weekends. Wish it opened earlier, I'd eat lunch there regularly. Nice friendly people too.
Maicee Express – WaterlooI dined at Fraiche last week for the first time and was impressed by the discreet interior, the knowledgeable service and impeccable food - all what you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant, without the pomp.We savoured eight delicious courses, each filled with surprises and flavours that made this a truly pleasurable dining experience. The cheese selection at the end of the meal is something to behold. The three month waiting list to dine at Fraiche is justified, we have booked at once to go back - truly sensational.
Fraiche Restaurant – OxtonFood great prices reasonable staff very friendly.would highly recommend.
Nine Dragons – AintreeWe went to Nicolas the Friday before Christmas. Although they were very busy with large parties, we had excellent, attentive service, fantastic food with large portion sizes, and all in a lively pleasant atmosphere. The bar area has large comfy sofas to relax and chat before or after your meal. Thank you Nicolas, a lovely evening.
