I recommend people go to North Garden they serve delicious Chinese dishes staff are very well manner and polite it has never let me down once out of ten I rate North Garden 9/10.

Great Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas. My girlfriend had the Tilapia, which she said was delicious too. Staff are all really friendly, and the atmosphere is good. Plus it's bring your own, so good for an informal and cheap meal.

I have visited and eaten at Yiamas Taverna in Borough Road, Birkenhead for many years and can say without doubt, that it is in my eyes, it is the best authentic Greek Taverna on Merseyside, with an excellent waiter service and a great atmosphere. Don't just sit there, come and try the venue out and see for yourself, Once you have tried the culinary delights, you will return again and again. In fact,...................... I loved it so much I had my wedding there.

We visited as part of a group booking in Manchester and are so glad we now have one in Liverpool as this is our home town. Looking forward to seeing you soon

We have been going to Yiamas for many years and over this period have introduced lots of friends who have, without exception, been very enthusiastic and keen to return. The food is authentic cuisine and is always delicious. The friendliness and atmosphere are unsurpassed and we would have no hesitation in recommending a visit.

After reading the reviews, we decided to pay a visit. The food was very good and so was the service. Mo and the rest of the waiters were very attentive. The food was full of flavour and you have to have the chutneys with poppadoms, ( 6 different ones. fantastic ). all in all a very enjoyable meal. We will be going back and making it our first choice curry house.

Six of us stayed in the hotel during January and had a most fantastic meal in The London Carriageworks. The menu was excellent and the six of us each thoroughly enjoyed all the courses we chose. It was such excellent value for money. We would certainly book to go the restaurant again. The hotel was very nice as well.

best Indian restaurant in Liverpool by far! i recommend that everyone go to this restaurant the service and quality is brilliant

Wonderful atmosphere, food lovely and great value

Excellent little restaurant, went on Saturday with my girlfriend and really enjoyed my meal. It Wednesday now and I'm ordering takeaway. Had really nice flavours in the curry excellent service as well :)

Truly amazing! Went today with my Mum for the Business Lunch, do not judge a book by its cover. The restaurant itself looks a little run down, especially in the shoddy Liverpudlian weather but the food was fantastic. We were in and out in about an hour, perfect for a quick lunch. The best Indian food I've had.

Never had a bad meal here, we almost always go for the tea time special good value for 3 courses.

Oh dear, I had high expectations for Nova after hearing good reviews and boy was I disappointed. This is not a fine dining experience. My starter was forgotten and when it finally arrived was undercooked. The main was ok but steak is difficult to get wrong, however the undercooked potato and cold celeriac served with it was interesting. The tart tatin I ordered for pudding was not only burnt but had an added extra baked into it courtesy of a no doubt hatless chef. The front of house was excellent but there needs to be significant training for the other staff if this is to be classed as fine dining. Overall a very disappointing visit, which I hope is nothing more than teething problems that will soon be ironed out.

Zen is a brilliant restaurant with brilliant expectations,makes a perfect night out or just a quiet meal out.

My partner and I went to this shambles of a restaurant last night, the food was terrible for starter my partner had mushroom soup and she said it seemed like it was out of a tin, we had duck for main and it was so hard the knife could barely cut through it, we then reluctantly asked for dessert hoping for some remittance but after asking for the creme brulee and crepes, after 5 minutes of thinking we would be getting food soon a waiter came to tell us there was no creme brulee and we would have to have something else, we changed that for profiteroles, it was all rubbish, the price was nearly £60, i was grinding my teeth whilst paying through them for a car crash of a tea, still one thing i could say good for them is that the complimentary fruit salad sweets at the end were very nice

Had Banquet last night - not been for a few years - well worth going.Lovely tasty food, service very good, friendly polite waiting on staff . Restaurant full - lovely fishtank in foyer.Will go again.

we bought a groupon and tried to book a weekend table as voucher stated 7days no exclusions. Phones three weeks in a row and they said because of the voucher we couldn't book peak times. Really really rude telephone manner and as a result groupon or not we will NOT be dining there
