Excellent food and great service. Lovely restaurant in a great location.
Gusto – Liverpool City CentreVisited on Sunday for the roast and thought building and service was OK but the food was not. The veg was quite obviously frozen and lacked any taste the roast potatoes must of been kept warm all day because they looked like they needed re-hydrating plus we did not get any Yorkshire puds because they had run out? (im sorry but how hard are they to make?) only saving grace was the beef was not too bad and gravy had some taste. I will not be returning to this pub again because if you cannot make a roast what chance have you got at anything else? Avoid and visit bottle and glass in Rainford.
The Game Bird – St.HelensFish and chip and Indian takeaway in the same place is a great idea.
Melling Fish Bar – BootleDelicious pasta cooked to perfection in an oasis of calm and sophistication. Very friendly staff, and we will return soon. A cut above anything else found locally.
Prego Restaurant – AintreeMy family and I visited Il Forno yesterday to celebrate my mums birthday. Everything about the experience was perfect. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Il Forno – Liverpool City CentreFirst time visit to Pauls Place today. Exceptional quality food and cooking !! Will spread the word among my fellow gourmands ! For celebrations and regular visits this small attractive restaurant is a must for all who appreciate the real meaning of ' good food'.
Pauls Place – Mossley HillWe visited Liverpool recently and have to say how impressed we were with Chaophraya Thai Restaurant in the Liverpool ONE park. The staff were lovely and really helped us with our choice of food. The decor is amazing and I am would definitely recommend the food which was delicious. We had drinks afterwards in the equally stunning Palm Sugar Lounge. This is the best place is Liverpool. We also spotted Joe Cole which was fantastic.
Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreMe and 3 others went to Othellos last Friday, just for a last minute meal. I had never been before, and never really knew anyone who had been so didn't know what to expect. However the food was absolutely gorgeous. We ordered the set meal for £18.50 per head, this included an array of pitta bread and dips for starters, a fish course - the prawns are amazing. A spicy sausage and pork course, then a kebab course with potatoes. We were stuffed, but the food was fantastic and for the price we paid very good value for money. We will definitely be going back to Othello's soon.
Othellos – Wooltonkozi is a lovely place to eat,we have been many many times and never had one complaint, the staff are lovely, food is beautiful, and to the person above complaining of no tea bags pleaseeeeeeee!! have a coffee,if thats all you can find to moan about, thats not too bad at all.WELL DONE TO EVERYONE who works in kozi, which is always busy considering the economic climate we are experiencing ,says it all xxxxx
Kozi – PrescotLiverpool's best kept secret. Stay away from the chain restaurants at Liverpool One and get yourself down to Deli Fonseca! Brilliant blackboard menu that changes depending on what they have in. Great selection of local bottled beers. Fantastic!
Delifonseca – Liverpool City CentreQuite simply the best. For what you are paying you receive excellent food with superb service and a lovely atmosphere. We have eaten here a number of times as a couple, with our children and with extended parties at all times of the day and night and have never had a bad experience. The only thing that makes Franc pip Pierre is that with the kids the stairs are a no-go! Would not hesitate in recommending the place to virtually anyone.
Bistro Franc – Liverpool City CentreStopped here one Saturday afternoon after it was recommended by a friend and on this website. To say we where not disappointed is an understatement. We just went off the set menu at £9.99 a head for two courses and the food was exceptional for what we paid. Not only that but the service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. I would recommend this to virtually anyone who enjoys good food in a nice setting. Its position for most of the city is good too. We ate at one of the more 'exclusive' restaurants in Liverpool the weekend before at a much higher price and this beat it. Hands down. You will not be disappointed.
The Monro – Liverpool City CentreAn awful experience, bad food and rude staff. An antipasto platter that consisted of cheap ham, canned tuna and celery sticks, just awful. Chicken pasta that tasted of absolutely nothing. Staff that roll their eyes and grumble about drinks orders and do their best to ignore customers. I would not recommend this place to someone I hated, truly terrible.
Casa Italia – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely fantastic Bistro - ambience (just right), friendly and helpful staff, tasty food - right in the heart of the city and just off Mathew St - couldn't have been bettered. We all loved it and will be back soon. We had a hugely enjoyable evening there - don't change a thing!
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreMy husband and I arrived at Bistrot Verite without a booking late one warm, Friday evening. Although the restaurant was full, we were offered a table outside and enjoyed the most wonderful dining experience. Service and food were excellent, and we were made very welcome. We are planning a return trip on our Anniversary later this month and this time we intend to book.
Bistrot Verite – SouthportI would never order from this sandwich bar ever again. Went a few days ago as i was on a building job at a house in the area. The staff were very hostile, I had to wait for ten mins for my buttie because one of the staff was on the phone to what appeared to be her auntie. The bread looked as if it had been left out for a few days and the filling tasted horrible. Would definitely avoid this place.
Derby Lane Sandwich Bar – West Derbyservice A* staff are lovely. food is quality my favorite salt and chilli chicken bites and chow meins!
Chan’s Chop Suey House – AintreeExcellent food and excellent staff. This venue has a top choice of genuine Greek food and the price isn't to bad either. Make sure to book though as it gets very busy
