Have been a regular at the Heswall Tandoori since 2004 and have always been very impressed with both the friendly service and outstanding food. I have frequented many of the curry houses on the Wirral and can honestly say that the Heswall Tandoori is the top of the crop. Great consistent food every time, reasonable prices, what more can you want! AAA+

This is an amazing restaurant. The customer service was exceptional and the food was lovely! I have been here twice and always eat the chicken dishes which have the nicest sauces! I highly recommend.

This restaurant isn't one of the first which comes to mind when thinking of Indian cuisine in Wallasey, despite having been open longer than most, but it still serves probably the best Indian food in town. The restaurant itself isn't as smart as some, despite having recently undergone a refurbishment to bring it up to the generic Indian restaurant style, and the drinks, especially the soft drinks, are curiously never particularly good. But the food is always delicious, the choice of dishes is good and the special evening offer which is available most nights is exceptionally good value.

We visited here last Saturday, 27th March. Placewas really busy. Had a lovely table by the live music - spanish guitarists.Gorgeous food and really great service. Friendly, our waitress really knew the menu and guided us to some inspired dishes. Morcilla, Chicken in potato crisps and lamb with butter beans were our highlights. The mixed leaves (or the dressing on them was the best I have ever had) - honey and a lovely vinegar. We would really recommend this. The best spanish restaurant by a long shot in Liverpool and that we have been to; also must be one of Liverpool's best restaurants overall. We just missed a few of Liverpool's spanish players, which we were told have made Lunya their regular haunt.

Fabulous looking restaurant, decor superb, great atmosphere, very smart and loads of lovely Italian waiters, all really friendly. Food nice but not outstanding, drinks service very slow and quite pricey. Seems disorganised as regards staff and who is looking after your table. Will return as great place but please tighten up on the service before customers go elsewhere as this would be a great shame.

Always a pleasure to dine here, the staff are friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. The food has a good selection and for sheer value you must try the Thali - the Asian equivalent of tapas! A good selection of accompanying drinks can be taken in the small attached lounge, nice modern surroundings. The owner takes real pride in his restaurant.

This restaurant is always at the top of my list of enjoyments when I come back to Southport from Australia where I now live. It's a long way to come for a curry some would say....others just nod and understand. The food, the attention to detail and service are worth the trip!

I have been there twice and there is a fantastic and individual choice of tapas and a la carte meals which are of exceptional quality. For seafood lovers I can strongly recommend the Zarzuela, razor clams, chilli mussels and stuffed sardines. For carnivores the belly pork in almond milk, morcilla, and chorizo are all exceptional. What I like about this place is the individuality. For about the same price paid for tapas in better known chain restaurants, I was impressed with the freshness and quality of the ingredients, passion for Spain and attention to detail that is hard to find elsewhere. Friends have told me this place is becoming very popular now and rapidly booking up at weekends and is even being frequented by some of the Spanish Liverpool footballers. All in all strongly recommended!

Fantastic food and service, couldn't fault anything about it. Well worth a visit.

Have eaten here several times, last two in party of 14 family 8 years to 75 ! We had the private room upstairs and what a good venue, nice friendly staff, good ambiance and superb food. Many ums and wows from the children who were treated with pleasant respect and not a half eaten plate in sight such is the choice. Not the cheapest place in southport but probably in our family opinion, the best ! love going there , love the food and what more can I say ? Great place

I am a member of a walking group, and my favourite walk is tomorrow which happens to be the walk from Seaforth to Hightown with lunch in the Hightown Hotel. It is always a friendly welcome with a good choice of real ales, including a managers special offer and a cracking menu to choose from. It is also handy for popping on the train back to Southport,

Definitely one of the best place to eat in southport. Excellent value for money, I go pretty much every week with my girlfriend and recommend it to everyone I know. The daily food deals such as half price steaks on Tuesday and two for one pizzas on a Wednesday are extreme value for money!

Can't go wrong with Pizza Express. Like the new range from their new executive chef. I had a top pizza served on slate and great new salad called semplica i think. Good views out of the big windows at this one in Southport

We went to Casa Mia last week for the first time in a few years as we've not had chance to go out alot and was impressed by the new menu as there was alot more choice and the prices were very reasonable, the £4.95 pizza / pasta menu which is on in the week will definitely have us eating there more often as the portions are still the normal size and very filling. We were well looked after and the staff were very helpful.

Dined at San Carlo for the first time last night. The service from the many italian waiters was first class. Food was superb. The only downside was that the tables were very close together. Saying this, I will definitely be making a return visit!

meals here are just gorgeous, very quick to cook the meals so no waiting around......
