OVERATED. NO PRIVACY FOR COUPLES, TOO OPEN AND CRAMMED ESPECIALLY IN THE CENTRAL SEATING ARREARS. FULL OF WANNABE GANGSTERS, DEALERS AND THEIR DITSY DUMB GIRLFRIENDS. MANAGEMENT ARE UNATTENTIVE AND MISERABLE. PRICE AND FOOD OVERATED.

I went to fuegos last night and lets just say i will NEVER go back again. After making my order, i was made to wait 40 minutes before the food, sorry dog food was served to me which i could have shat out onto a plate myself. Service was awful, they can take criticism and between them i don't think they even know where mexico is. From now on i will be sticking to Old El Paso food from the supermarket.

July 08 - Yet again another superb evening at Pushka. Food excellent, staff extremely pleasant and accommodating and atmosphere perfect. We have eaten at Pushka a couple of times a year since it opened and have never been disappointed. We book for very special occasions and when we have visitors to the city. Keep it up.

Friendly staff, great food, what more can I say? Finding a Chinese restaurant where the price is reasonable without compromising on quality is difficult but this is place! Highly recommended.

it was our first time there last week. I've drove past it many times thinking must try there soon but never did, untill we were invited there by friends . Service was excellent the food fantastic, good quality produce well cooked with a twist .Don't know about the cost as I wasn't paying and the menu I was given didn't have prices.[ nice touch] A super night. I will be back again soon.

Went to Othellos last night. Wasnt impressed. Firstly the restaurant is gorishly decorated in 80s greek decor, very old fashioned. Ramsay would have a field day. On looking at the menu, the prices shocked me. 12.50 for a lamb kebab and a few sausages, and a starter of tzatsiki with a few bits of pita bread pushing onto 4/5 pound. The food standard was similar to that of Kimos or other fast food cafes. I felt it was over priced, however it was tasty and a substantial portion. I wont be going back due to the over prices for the same standard of food I could go to Smithdown Road for half the price.

My husband and are regular visitors to the Munro, we love the food. The new menu is imaginative. I had the duck and ribs in BBQ sauce really yummy. Alan is a veggie and he was spoilt for choice ( this is not so in most places). Just one problem we would love to take friends there but can not do so as they are both in electric wheelchairs, they could get in but not use the toilet. A disappointment as the refurbishment has just been done.

Absolutely filthy. Toilets must not have been cleaned in about 5 years. Never again.

I recommend not to book a large party with Alma De Cuba. They will take the booking but I am afraid can't deliver. We were told that the kitchen was to small with our party, and the next party to us were told the same - why take the booking. The meal was utterly dreadful , however we only paid 50% but that was through a lot of negotiating. All in all 30 people will not be returning to eat!

Been several times now, never disappointed, great food, very friendly staff, our friends like it as well. Will definitely dine here again and again. Will recommend it to all our friends.

Stay away if you want good service and good food. This establishment has just been refurbished?????? and is now part of the sizzling pub company chain. Out of five visits, four have had appauling standard of food or service. The chain has obviously hired managers who cannot adequately manage the chefs/restaurant, chefs who are not adequately trained and staff who would benefit from customer care training. Come back Ember Inns !!!!

Spent Friday evening here and had an excellent meal. The food is delicious, tasty and tender meat. Good value wine and attentive service. We'll certainly be returning and I'd recommend this restaurant to others who might want a change from the usual fare...

We visited the newly refurbished New York Cafe Bar and bought drinks and went upstairs to the new dining area after looking at wine menu whilst sat in the waiting area which was empty as was most of the restaurant (only 6 persons dining on two separate tables). We were approached by a person who we perceived to be a manager. Before we could ask to peruse the main menu, he asked in a demanding way whether we were dining. We informed him that we were not at this time. He said: “You are not allowed to bring drinks upstairs!” He then demanded that we go downstairs with our drinks. I asked him whether there were any signs stating that we should not be up in this area. He said: “We don't need a sign!” We were allowed upstairs by passing a door person who seemed quite happy to let us upstairs with our drinks. The manager then demanded that we go downstairs and take our drinks with us. We finished our drinks and left the premises. Not a good reception and we will not be dining here at all. We are aggrieved that we were treated so discourteously and rudely. We did note that one of the couples dining had to request the waitress at least twice to correct her order when delivered to the table. The manager in the meantime pulled up a chair at the other table with 4 people on it and joined their company.

I recently ate here with 5 other people. 5 of us chose to eat from the offer of 3 courses for £17.95 including a bottle of wine per couple. The staff were great however the food was very disappointing for supposedly one of the best restaurants in Liverpool. Both starters and mains looked great but were very bland. The desserts tasted extremely sour and the flavours didn't compliment each other at all. One of the group ordered the fish and chips which you would think would be easy enough to cook but even that was cooked wrong!

Myself and 7 work colleagues have just returned from a wonderful lunch at Delifonseca. Remember to book , or you could be disappointed - it was a Tuesday and people were queueing for tables Candice and her staff were very helpful and provided excellent service. The food was all amazing - but a special mention must go to The Mutton and Spinach Curry and Pecan Pie. A fabulous time was had by all. This is a hidden gem- we will definitely be back to sample more!!!

I went to Etsu on Saturday with my girlfriend and what a fantastic find this little Japanese restaurant is! The service and staff ,particularly the waitress that served us, were consummate professionals and had a genuine passion for their job and the cuisine that they served. My girlfriend had not tried sushi before and is now a convert, due to the high standards of taste that were delivered. I had the seasonal recommendation of white tuna in a ponzu sauce, which was by far the best fish dish I've ever tasted. We'll be returning to Etsu and recommending this gem to our family and friends.

This is an outstanding place to eat. We were in a party of 14 and opted for the lamb and pate off the menu - it was flawless. Often, set meals can be disappointing, but this was certainly NOT the case here! Every mouthful was utterly divine and everyone was raving about the sheer quality of the food on offer. Staff were amazing - the service was exceptional without being obsequious or obtrusive - water / wine / bread constantly offered. Wow. I have been here a couple of times before and been amazed by it on each occasion btw the vicking veg chef looked as tasty as the food
