At last an indian restaurant worth a mention. From start to finish, Mayur is excellent. The decor/ambience, the service, and the quality of food were exceptional. The range of dishes is very extensive and I would definitely recommend the set menu. If you want a fantastic meal in beautiful surroundings, then Mayur is for you.

lin and Pete would like to a say big thank you to Adam and matt and all at spire. we celebrated our ruby wedding there on bank holiday Sunday and had a delightful evening. we had the whole of the upstairs restaurant which seated our 40 guests perfectly, the food, wine and service was excellent, well done x

We visited Piccolino's as a treat at the end of a lovely weekend spent in Liverpool, and were really pleased we had. The food was beautiful - I had a pasta dish that was cooked to perfection. Despite the restaurant being really busy the entire time we were in there, the atmosphere was excellent and the tables were large enough to cope with the masses of plates and glasses we ended up with! The service was great too. I would definitely recommend Piccolino's to anyone looking for quality food in a great setting.

Took time out from the mathew street festival to eat some proper food - great choice of restaurant! Although obviously busy on a bank holiday Monday the service was both efficient and polite. The olives in dressing and focaccia for starters were freshly prepared and extremely tasty. The pizzas - Margarita and Quattro Staggioni - were crisp and authentic with just the right amount of topping - almost the best since Naples! To finish, espressos and grappa. Total bill including a half litre of house red was £31. Will return soon.

The best Indian cuisine I have ever encountered and I would recommend it to anyone. The service, atmosphere and surroundings didn't disappoint either.

THE BEST restaurant in Southport by far! Been going here for 10 years or more & never disappointed! We always have steaks as I’m not into seafood but my friends say that the seafood is even better than the steak! Would recommend to anyone- they also have amazing midweek offers! Not To Miss!

We had a wonderful time at Mayur and the food was exceptional and made the night. We had the buffet menu and were therefore able to try a number of different dishes including some that I wouldn’t ordinarily have chosen. I heartily recommend the Aloo Tikki and the Chicken Tikka was to die for! The restaurant itself is very classy with tasteful décor and the staff were very efficient and friendly. I’ll definitely be eating here again - in fact I’ve already booked my next visit.

A fabulous little restaurant in the best part of Liverpool. the food is always superb and the atmosphere makes you feel like a special guest at someone's house. We love it!

Been twice now - both times excellent food and service. Cannot fault this place. Always lots of people but you never have to wait long for your food/drinks. Even inbetween lots of big tables our table for two felt quiet! Always made to feel important no matter how much you spend etc.

A great evening was had by all at spire, full on a Tuesday night and just about got a table for the following night, thanks to all for a memorable anniversary...Paula

i recently visited Derby Lane SAndwich Bar on my lunch break, at first i didn't know what to order as there was so much choice! i had the hot beef with onions and mushrooms on a baguette, i was worried that it would be a bit fatty but they told me it would all be cooked on a non-fat griddle without using any oil. my friend had the bacon chicken and cheese which looked a bit big for me. we also had some drinks and a cake each which were only 35p each! the staff were friendly and polite and the place was spotless. i believe its the only take away in that area with more than 2 stars on the lcc website.I would recommend this place to everyone as its clean, very tasty, quick and the choice is fantastic!!! a+++

Great meal and such great value. The food was actually a lot better than some of the more expensive restaurants I have dined in, I will certainly be going again, its fantastic value for money and the atmosphere was great! The staff were very friendly, they treated me like a V.I.P. I would definitely recommend you visit, you wont be disappointed!

We went to the Mayur last week not really knowing what to expect. But having just watched Anjum Anand "Indian Cooking Made Easy" advocating the use of high quality ingredients and spices this is what this restaurant is all about - quality. The food is delicious, surroundings plush and innovative. The service was a little over zealous but better that than lack of service. This is usually outside of my price range for a mid-week eatery but fantastic for a special treat. Give it a try - this is REAL Indian food.

The fillet steak with shoestring onions is a must. gotta be med rare though! also need the recipe for those bourbon mushrooms. Our family love this place, we can certainly recommend Damons to anyone.

My boyfriend and I visited the restaurant earlier this week to wish each other goodbye before we head off to uni. It certainly won't be a night we'll forget in a hurry! The service, atmosphere and the quality of the food were faultless, not the mention the friendliness of the staff, very reasonable prices and the incredible floor show. The first three attributes alone would have given us a wonderful dining experience, but Sapporo gives you so much more than its fresh, delicious food - a fabulous night out. It really is the best restaurant in Liverpool - and very possibly beyond.
