I visited the hong sing with friends and i thought the staff were very friendly and the service was great. I thought the prices where really good for what you get. the food was lovely infact i enjoyed it that much i have arranged to return in 3 days for a family meal. class service great food what more could you ask for and no im not being paid for this rating.

I have visited this restaurant regularly over the last few years and have always found the food, service and pricing to be of an excellent standard. This is a restaurant that I would certainly recommend to visitors to the city - it is a place where they can enjoy delicious Chinese food in the heart of Liverpool's China Town.

Have been here four or five times now and the food is always tasty, fresh and packed with flavour. The menu has a good choice with sandwiches and soups to hearty hot main meals. Have recommended to all my friends, and the deli is great also, Liverpool was in dire need of somewhere like this.

Had a Sunday meal here & although food, Service & the restaurant decor were great, the location was pretty poor with awfull views looking out of the window (train station & what looks like disused garage or something). Our meal was taken about 2 hours after it opened for Sunday lunch & they had already ran out of the chicken which was suprising considering the size of the venu. So now with about 25% less available on the menu I went for the beef which was perfect, but to top that the veg was even better (Just try the carrots mmmmmm). However on a final moan> They also ran out of tea bags! :( On reflection as a whole I would recommend this place & I will more than likely visit it again in the future, but only when it's not too busy (It's a small place) as you'll never know what they'll run out of

Not been to this wonderful eatery for over a year and the food was just as good as remembered, only downside was the service the young gentleman was very courteous but lacked the experience and charm of the last head waiter Eddie, but on a whole still good

This is a new restaurant that we had heard very good reports about so visited it recently. Everything was superb. Presentation of food was amazing. Staff smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful setting too. Definitely will go again.

La Tasca is a lovely restaurant, the outside area is great to enjoy the sun. The waiter are friendly, attentive and as far as I can tell all from Latin country. The atmosphere inside is great. The food is good value, but nothing like a Spanish tapas. The patatas bravas were extremely disappointing. I wouldn't go back for food, I think there are much better places in Liverpool. But I would go there for a drink.

We opted for the banquet to simplify the choices for us since it was our first visit. The food was full of flavour and I enjoyed in particular the exotic spicy desserts, although not too keen on the hot and sour soup. A note on their booking policy for groups: deposit given on behalf of anyone who doesn't turn up is lost and can't be used towards the rest of the group, so be sure to know your exact numbers first. The proprietor was patient to explain. Very friendly family business.

Frosty reception from the maitre d' who wouldn't seat us until the last man in a group of 12 had arrived, and when finally seated, it was on a creaky bench almost about to break. We ordered almost 30 tapas and 6 paellas to share which was far too much food. By this time the staff had become less frosty and quite helpful. They got a few of the tapas orders mixed up and we had to chase a few missing ones, but it all got sorted in the end. It certainly helps to remember what you ordered. The wine was lovely. Really convenient online booking service, no deposit, and we were not rushed to leave while we had our hot drinks and desserts (a weekday evening). Overall, we had a really good night despite the few criticisms.

Along with 19 others I visited the Bistro on a Tuesday evening and was really impressed by everything about the restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service outstanding. We were going to the theatre and they managed to feed and water 20 of us within 2 hours! We will certainly be going back!

This is an attractive restaurant but on the Friday night we eat there it was quiet and lacked atmosphere. The food was variable with some very good dishes and one (the gnocchi) with slightly off flavours. The service was good but a little uncoordinated. The meal was not expensive (around £100 including drinks) for three and I will go again.

Excellent food, staff really helpful it was my first time at Kozi and will definitely not be my last the food is delicious, set menu really good value and the puddings are amazing!!!!!!!!! Thanks for a great night. Helen, Claire, Nik and Lisa xxxxxxxxx

I have been to Jalons on many occasions and have never been disappointed last night I took my family my son had never been before he really enjoyed the "Lamb" so soft it melted in your mouth. We went on the early doors session so no music but as we left the restaurant was filling up it looked as if they would be in for a good night.

If you like Indian food you MUST try the Heswall Tandoori. It's been around for years and it's not surprising. The food is EXCELLENT. There is 3 Indian/fusion restaurants in Heswall, but the Heswall Tandoori has been around the longest and is absolutely the best! The food is so delicious but inexpensive, I don't know how they do it for the money.

We visited this pub on Saturday for my Father's 60th and had possibly the greatest meal that I have ever had in any restaurant, their chicken stuhhed with salmon simply has to be experienced, the atmosphere in the pub, although very busy was very relaxed and we stayed for the entire evening sampling a number of different wines and finished off the meal with a delicious white chocolate tart. I must also add that all the staff worked their socks off to make our visit something special and were very attentive to our needs, especially our server who was named Paul. He made us feel very comfortable and we wanted for nothing throughout our visit...very well done everyone!! We will be back very soon and so will our family!

This is our "local" Italian restaurant and is the best we've ever eaten at, including some in Italy! The food is both authentic and superbly presented and Enzo goes out of his way to make you welcome, as do Anna and all the staff. This is our restaurant of choice for special occasions, because it never fails to please.
