Excellent food - I visit Crete every year to stay with friends and the starters served here are exactly the same as the real thing in Crete. The fish was cooked beautifully and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

I went to this restaurant and I was very pleased with it I really enjoyed my meal and I would really like to go again the only criticism I would give it is that the meal and drinks was a bit pricey and I would have normally took more money

I visited Othello's on a Fathers day Sunday evening with my partner, who was a bit dubious to try Greek food but he decided to give it a go. As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was lovely. There was a lot of families and couples enjoying their meals whilst traditional Greek music played in the background and all the tables were candlelit and really well presented. The waiter came over with our menus and was really friendly and helpful, explaining exactly what accompanied each dish. For starters I chose the king prawns in garlic sauce with pitta bread and tahini sauce, my partner chose a thick Greek vegetable soup with garlic bread. All the starters were faultless and beautifully well presented. Once we had finished the waiter promptly came to take the plates and asked if we were ready for the main course or if we would like a break. I was really pleased that we had the option, as some restaurants rush you. We decided that we were ready because neither of us could wait to taste the main courses! My partner played it safe with a steak and i chose a chicken kebab. Both dishes came with rice, salad and thick cut potatoes that were delicious and again, were wonderfully presented. We also ordered a side order of creamy Aphrodite sauce which complemented both meals beautifully. My partner said his steak was one of the best he had ever tasted and my cubes of chicken melted in my mouth. It was fantastic food, really authentic and it filled us up nicely. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience and we will most certainly be visiting again. I was also pleasantly surprised at the bill, for all our food and 2 soft drinks, it came to £41. It was well worth it and we left a generous tip to show our appreciation. If you are looking for fantastic food in a nice area at a reasonable price visit Othello's. 10/10.

My girlfriend and I visited Tapas Tapas last night and we were both very impressed with what was on offer. We have both been to La Tasca and La Vina and feel that Tapas Tapas can certainly match these two establishments with regards to quality of food. With certain dishes Tapas Tapas can actually outdo both La Tasca and La Vina. Although we never booked we arrived early enough to be accommodated. Any later and we would have struggled. This is a very popular little tapas bar so either arrive early or book in advance. A number of people were turned away last night due to being very busy. We were very impressed with the food (most notably the Pollo y patatas en salsa verde...superb!), the atmosphere was very vibrant and the cost was more than modest. Overall a very enjoyable experience that I will certainly be revisiting again in the near future.

We had so lovely time last Saturday night at the monro. the food was just perfect and the place was packed. We will go again when we'll visit Liverpool next time. A great place to eat or have a drink. AAAAAAAAA++++

Had a fantastic night out with the girls!! The choice on the menu was perfect and matt and his team in the kitchen did not fail to disappoint. The service was unfaultable and very helpful. We were recommended some great wines. Adam, the owner was delightful and we all look forward to our next visit and the upcoming future of spire!!

The food was ordered and delivered to the table within 15mins.It was well cooked but bland and the portions on the small side. The staff were polite, hard-working and very helpful. We had to prompt them for the sweet we'd ordered and again when we ordered more food that hadn't arrived 25mins after ordering. To be fair it was busy and our prompting led to a flurry of activity. Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced and pleasant staff make it well worth a visit.

Nice building but inside it is almost completely dark, the chairs are perfect level for me as i'm 6'7 but I would imagine smaller people would have a problem with them. The food was adequate for the price. The main plus point over other restaurants is that the waiting on staff are excellent. Possibly the best service in Liverpool. If they could only lighten the place up a bit (it is a bit morbid, especially as it is was a church), sort the chairs out and maybe have more than one cubicle in the toilet in the restaurant it would be great.

Went here 4 my 16th Birthday with friends, we had a great time and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The waiter's also sang Happy Birthday, very entertaining but sang out of tune lol, looking forward to going back.

I think that the staff are very friendly and the service was fantastic! The staff were not afraid to stop and chat and they made my outing a very pleasing one! My family and I are planning to go there again, as we were all extremely pleased! The food was excellent too!

I think Esteban is great and my family and I go there all the time!! The staff are really friendly, especially Sim????nd I find the ambience to be really Spanish which gives the restaurant a really good feel of authenticity!

Have visited here now on a number of times and have been very pleased on all occasions. We have never booked before but have always been accommodated; even when very busy the staff have managed to fit us in, thank you. It is a vibrant, easy to find typical Tapas style bar with more than excellent food. The staff and management are all very friendly and helpful and although do not bother you when eating are on hand at a glance. Highly recommended...But book to avoid disappointment.

Without doubt the best Indian food in Liverpool !!!! The Hot Buttered Chicken is legendary !!!! ......Unbeatable!!!! The staff are friendly and always remember you when you go back. My brother, three sisters, my wife (even my kids) and all of my friends love the food. Words alone are not enough ..... you have to visit.

A regular treat for my family and I - when asked where they would like to eat, the only place they say is "Damon's". A friendly place with good staff, who have a sense of humour.

Great night at spire. food is superb especially the little extra courses. Good to see a well written wine list outside of the city centre.
