Went for Sunday lunch with the family, great value for money and lovely food, service was excellent too, ... The sticky toffee pudding was especially a delight ... well worth a visit for well price good quality food locally

From the moment we walked in we knew we had made the right decision in booking The Bulls Head for Sunday lunch. A warm welcome with excellent service throughout Really added to the experience. But what about the food?? Tasty, down to earth, well cooked and really satisfying. My partner had been looking forward to the devilled kidneys since he saw them on the menu and he loved them. We had the roast beef, it was delicious and wonderfully tender. The cheese board was very generous with great quality biscuits and the sticky toffee pudding was gorgeous. We will be back!

Had a meal for 2 at the Bulls Head, the food was delicious, especially the Bulls Head egg and the rib eye steak was cooked to perfection. Desserts were really tasty too. Service was great and the price very reasonable. Highly recommended, will definitely be back.

3 of us went this Saturday the food was nice but could do with more options especially for kids. It needs beef sausage as other option apart from pork and beef sausage. As a whole good joint took me back home loved the chakalaka.

not impressed. Service was very slow, starter arrived quickly but then took 40 minutes for two pizzas to arrive, mine was like a swimming pool, all wet and soggy. Asked for bill and was 20 minutes before again asking, had to get up and walk to the door before they bothered to tot up the bill, as we had theatre tickets we had to leave as to not miss the performance starting - the bill came to £47 for two people at the pre theatre menu and two drinks. Go figure - we didn’t have to argue, total rip off. Avoid

Had a lovely meal at the Bulls Head. Food was excellent, service attentive and venue very pleasant. Highly recommend the cheese and onion pie and sticky toffee pudding - clean plates all round and will be returning in the very near future.

Visited with 2 friends on a Saturday afternoon. We chose the meat platter, the veggie platter plus a dish of spinach and pap. Wow! So many fabulous flavours and new foods to try. Bright, vibrant interior, friendly staff and delicious food and drinks. What more could you ask for. Will definitely be back for another visit.

Good food, friendly and professional service, an excellent choice for a pre-theatre meal.

I had a pre-theatre meal with my sister, the service was quick but didn't feel rushed. Multiple options were made available to my sister who is vegan, for myself a true meat eater there were plenty of options on the menu. We did eat early evening (17:45) so restaurant wasn't busy but still had a good atmosphere. This is a restaurant I'd certainly look to come back to when next in Manchester, would be suitable for a meal with family or friends.

I travel to Manchester a lot for work and always ensure I make a reservation here whenever I can. The service is excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic. The food is always fresh and always tasty. If you’re there before 6:45 the pre-theatre menu is excellent value for money.

I couldnt fault this restaurant. It was our first time, we will definitely going back. The food, the service everything was excellent.

Another great pre-theatre dinner at Gio's.....superb service and great food...even managed a pudding!!
