Bunga Raya – Stockportwent today for a change and because we had rememberd it was quite a good pub, we went in and initially liked the greeting and we were told there was a specials board. i glanced at it and although had initially gone for a sandwich decided to try the lancashire hotpot which i often enjoy living in lancashire. it was priced at 9pounds and i thought it must be good at that price:) what arrived was a dismal slop with a crust on top and i instantly regreted my order. thinking it may taste better i lifted the crust off and discoverd a layer or mince beef and what looked like the left over potatoes from yesterday. As a lancashire hotpot is made with lamb i looked at the board and noitced a mince meat and potato pie so i assumed i had been given the wrong order. The waitress informed me that that was not the case and the chef had just made it with beef. i said that means it isnt a lancashire hotpot, she said she would correct the menu board and walked off. I explained to her that i had ordered a lancashire hotpot and expected to receive that. I had to ask for a change of meal which she was reluctant to do and i decided on the piripiri chicken on a bun. she told me that it may be very spicy in a sarcastic manner and that pirpiri chicken means different things at different places. I said i knew what piripiri chicken was and she slopped off. What arrived as my replacement meal was as bad as the first. A frozen style chicken breat that you may get from tesco, heated up and sat on a bun..this was 7pounds. The experirnce was dreadful, i went in a good mood and left deflated, ripped off and although i dont usually write reviews was compelled to do so.
Rigbye Arms Country Inn and Bistro – WiganSadly I had to attend a funeral wake at the Cheshire Line but the staff and the service made everything so much more easier for me. I had to arrive later than the other members of the party because I was working that day. The landlord put me at easy straight away and directed me to the other mouners. It is always a bit daunting walking in to pub as a female on her own and espexcially on a sad occasion but I felt the warm welcome as soon as I walked through the door.
Cheshire Line Tavern – CheadleScott's Hill Restaurant in Chorlton is a breath of fresh air! Complimentary olives with the Champagne, mussels, sea bass and an elegant Sancerre - fresh local produce served in the first floor restaurant by friendly efficient staff. No minuses for this one - go and experience very good food at reasonable prices. We'll be back!
Scott’s Hill – ChorltonMy self and my fiancé love this place it is the best pub in Cheadle and the food is out standing the staff are always so welcoming and go out of there way to help you it's brilliant
The Red Lion – Cheadlefantastic food, atmosphere and service will be going again and again. told my customers and friends about it as i work locally!
Istanbul Grill – PrestwichThe two bad reviews on here I am sure must have eaten somewhere else.We have eaten at The Rivington 5 times now and has been excellent every time.As for the one saying the fish and chips was standard i would certainly disagree it was fresh fish with crisp thin batter and home made chips to die for.We have had plenty of the dishes now on our visits and have enjoyed every one,I would recommend people have a visit and decide for yourselves, but we will defo be going again.
Rivington Pub and Grill – Horwichnever eaten in for a meal but ordered a takeaway starters where okay but the beef curry i ordered was so chewy it was inedible even our pet dog struggled with it how can anybody knock out food like this disgusting.
Cinnamon Fusion Indian Cuisine – BoltonSorry guys, the bar has gone downhill recently, needs totally updating with a lick of paint, and getting really upset about the toilets being used for drugs than what they are intended for. What happened to the old White Room ???
The White Room – WhitefieldI ate the most amazing lunch here last week it was such an enjoyable experience i highly recommend it The staff were friendly and polite and the cafe/mini restaurant is clean quaint and adorable

Casa Nostra – WesthoughtonHad a great meal here a couple of weeks ago. Have had great meals eating in and taking away and they always manage to slip a beer in your hand whilst you wait for the take away to be ready. Really good customer service and excellent authentic food, if you haven't yet try this restaurant!!
Buraq – WiganWhat a 1st class dining experience!!! My husband and I enjoy dining out regularly - the food and service at Dimitri's Didsbury was superb! We had a fantastic waiter who made the night along with the deliciously tasting and presented food!! Well worth the money which wasn't to expensive! I have recommended the restaurant to friends who ate their last week and agreed. There will definitely be a return visit soon! Hayley Jamieson-Saville
