Quite simply the best Indian restaurant in the Northwest.
Khandoker – DidsburyDo not go here needles on the toilet floor which my 4year old nearly picked up. Disgusting language from a female staff member discussing her detailed disgusting sex life with a colleague absolute terrible experience
Three Arrows Inn – MiddletonOn my visit my little boy nearly picked up a needle of the toilet floor. And while your eating with your young children you will get to hear about the description of the females staff sex life. Absolute appalling experience here do not waste your money and it is dangerous to take your kids in there if heroin users are leaving there needles on the toilet floor. Please dint take young children there!
Three Arrows Inn – Middletonhad a take away from here and the bread was wet through with source, never again will i eat here. sorry Turkish delight but your standards have dropped, badly, over the last two years, please try and sort it out.
Turkish Delight – ChorltonThe Deccan is the best Indian Restaurant we have come across...forget Rusholme.....or anywhere else. Nowhere compares to it. The food is superb and if you don't find anything you fancy (unlikely) they will make you something up. wonderful.
Deccan Restaurant – UrmstonThis restaurant can't be faulted. Wonderful food, wine and service with a laid back atmosphere. My wife and I had a wedding anniversary meal there in July and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommended.
Little Italy – Haleall i want to know is what time you are open till on Friday night
Puccini Pizzeria – SwintonOverrated. There are better places to eat in the city centre.
The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City CentreVery little to say about this place at least in a positive sense anyway other than the interior of the restaurant is very appealing to the eye and is clean and tidy. The food however is a disaster. The only half decent part were our side dishes. They were tasty enough but were far from inspiring. My main course was extremely poor and judging by appearances and the lack of any comment so were the dishes of my companions. I'd avoid.
Tampopo – Manchester City CentreWe ate with our 2 year old at the Olive Garden last Wednesday early evening. The food was excellent and the staff were welcoming and friendly and made a fuss of our noisy little one. Well worth a trip. Service was quick just what we needed with small child in tow.
Olive Garden – WiganWe eat out once a week and have discovered The Owls At Standish, We recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in good food well presented and sold at sensible prices, give it a try and you wont be disappointed. Marian and John Smith from Whittle le Woods P.S. Wish we had somewhere similar in our own area.
The Owls At Standish – WiganSuperb food, excellent service, would recommend to all.
Casa Belmondo – Roytonvery very good restaurant, got home from tour of duty and had a nice meal. the food was great, very friendly staff. lots to choose from from the menu and drinks. its also has a enormous car park which is good too.
The China Room – WesthoughtonReally great food, excellent service. An excellent all round experience.... Would highly recommend.
Millon Restaurant – OldhamThis is our joint favourite Chinese restaurant in Manchester by far! Its the sort of place you go when you're in the know rather than a run of the mill Chinese. Prices are average for an in town restaurant but worth every penny....the food is exceptional. Try the traditional clay oven roasted pork Cantonese style....a mouthful to order but a taste sensation that typifies the quality of the food. Service is very good...attentive yet not overpowering. The decor (recently updated) is excellent and adds to the quality feel of the restaurant. Go early or book as its always full (a good sign). Excellent City Centre choice.
The Rice Bowl – Manchester City CentreReally good night out. The food is pretty good. I can't fault the service - friendly and efficient. The bar staff have a great knowledge of cocktails and can make anything you ask for.
TGI Fridays – SaleBig Name big expectations, average experience. Well on a wet Sunday afternoon at 6.15pm nipped in to the Gaucho, the place had around 20-25 diners, seemed understaffed as the service was dreadfully slow. Saw the service pick up after observing the team brief at 7pm. Soft shell Crab 4 pieces, £17, was ok, like a light tempura batter with the 1/2 lemon and alioli, was not greasy, nothing much to shout about. The waiter mixed up the order for the seafood platter, we ordered the main course but arrived the starter cold portion; we did not say anything as we were in a hurry! Rib Eye was cooked to perfection, and was a good quality matured steak. The waiter forgot the salad to go with this. however the mangeress on duty was I think the star of the show, alert and hovering the tables talking to all tables and guests. She took immediate action to organise the salad. Bill £74, for bottle of still, 500ml of rose (served in a cheap water jug.............come on Gaucho find a better carafe!!)and 2 starters and 1 main course. Yes the place is visually stunning, chairs and most of the restaurant seemed to be covered with a sort of black and white cow patches, did not dare to as if this was from the real cow! Great bar and seating area around it. Sloppy service at these prices is not expected. the place when we left at 7.40 had in total around 35-40 diners, around 1/3 full, Dread to see what the service is like when they are packed to capacity.
Gaucho – Manchester City CentreThis place is brilliant - 4th time here, very clean and efficient service - no rush to finish quickly, variety of starters and main courses to suit to everyone. Chicken and Fish dishes out of this world!! Thank you for a great meal - recommend to anyone.
