Food was good, well cooked and promptly served. Portions were very small considering the cost. Price of drinks was prohibitive, and will prevent further visits from us. (eg: glass of white winne and a mineral water............ £5.15p

I visited this Restaurant for the first time two weeks ago and was very impressed. The food was fantastic, the staff friendly and eager to please, with a really good atmosphere. We had booked a table for 7.00 pm and by even then it was very busy. By 8.00 pm it was almost full. Prices are a bit steep but worth every penny and we will definitely go back when we return to Manchester later in the year. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone - its first class. Book early though to avoid disappointment.

The quality and quantity of the food was absolutely fantastic. Atmosphere and decoration not really authentic. Their wine it was amazing and an overall a fab experience. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent range of curries including ones I have never heard of before, excellent portion sizes guareented to fill even the largest of bellies! Fantastic food, service and prices, who could complain when you recieve free wine and bottles of beer even with a take away!!

the best in the world. pricey but well worh it. people come from far and wide to eat here. And i am so lucky, its my local. For any curry eater, its a must.

In the short time it has been open i have visited the Stable Gate on a number of times and have found the service to be slow and the food when it arives to be Presentable. i myself would not recomend it for any awards but its ok if you want a quiet talk whilst waiting to be served at the bar or for your food to arrive at te table.

Great food yet the service can be very poor deich pending on which server you have. The ambience is poor as it is a very big restaurant.

Simply a very enjoyable evening sitting by the window watching the world go by with lovely food. well worth the money paid. reliably good

The hospitality for our party of 20 was really excellent. They even opened specially on Sunday for our family get-together! A most agreeable place for a meal.

Been several times, and it's definitely got better lately. No doubt because Rob Brown is overseeing the cooking(exec chef at Lounge Ten when it was fanatastic, untill he left). Good wine list with plenty available by the glass (other restaurants take note). Basically the best place in town for traditional British grub and a good drink.

This has got to be in the top 2 of best Thai restaurants in Manchester. I ate a wonderful and succulent Pad Thai there the other day, made with king prawns and chicken. It was perfectly moist without being watery and had just the right amount of "thai fire" and tangy zestiness. The service was excellent, being very attentive, friendly and welcoming. I f you've been to Thailand you'll know this is a Thai trait. Get down to Sale and give Jitrada a go.

Steak eaters heaven. If they still do it try the carpaccio of Tuna starter with balsamic and lemon juice, very good. Wine list good. Staff are friendly, all in all recomended. Do agree that it is a bit souless midweek though due to it's size, go when it's busy.

THE best tapas in Mcr. In fact better than most I've sampled in Barcelona! Never had a bad food experience here, although the service/decor is rather casual and you have to fight the odd fruit fly off your Rioja. Good buzz about the place, always busy, which says alot about it's broad appeal. The owner is always around mingling as well, which makes a difference to any place I think. Check it out, you will enjoy!

An excellent restaurant!! The decor is breathtaking, the food exquisite, and the service attentive without being overbearing. A bit pricey, but well worth it for a special occasion. I went with my partner, but would be just as good for large parties! A real oriental treasure!

Its a nice pub with a nice view good to go on a nice sunny day yet on a cold one you can sit inside with the fire - just not too close you dont want to burn yourself ooooooooooh no dont do that

Judging by how busy this place has become in such a short space of time, it's a winner! Food is good and solid if not outstanding,have tried all the risottos on the menu, wild mushroom my fave. Good to sit at the bar and people watch as well, although it has become very cheshire set (Stepford wives anyone?). You can have a laugh with the staff, watch out for the MD, very acid sense of humour.When telling him we were in a hurry he immediately shouted out "bread and water for these gentleman". Good place.
