me and my husband have visited the restaurant twice now and the service and food is excellent. the staff are very friendly and polite, nothing is to much trouble for them. we will definetly be going again and recommend it to anyone.

Great concept for a restaurant. One you must try!

If you're a hardcore noodle professional like me - this is the place. While the subtle and amazingly fresh flavours of each dish compliment each other perfectly, the fiery added chilli (optional -for the die-hard spice fans) gives it a conclusive kick up the *** giving the whole meal a satisfying and extrememly delicious taste....I don't believe the flavours created at tampopo can be beaten at any other pan-asian restaurant that I know of, and I 've had some experience! I could go on and on, but if you're looking for very quick, fresh cuisine at a quirky, people-watching location, get yourself down to Albert Square.

Food was excellent what we actually received. Let down by very poor service, we were actually blamed for not receiving our starters.

My sister had her wedding reception at Stock and it was fantastic! The staff were superb and the food second to none - all 7 courses! I can't recommend it enough if you want a "city" wedding. It might cost that bit extra but worth every penny.

The Indian Ocean is truly in a class of its own. The reatsuarant and customer service are of excellent standard! Highly recommendble place for any occasion!

This place is, like my review suggests, outstanding. When you first walk in the restaurant, the interior isn't very welcoming. It kind of reminded me of an indoor swimming pool, but as soon as you pass the first test, and go through the second door to the actual restaurant, it's top quality through and through.

My boyfriend and I have been here on quite a few occasions and found the staff all very pleasent and welcoming. The food has always been very enjoyable and my steaks cooked exactly the way I like them. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a nice quite, leisurely meal.

I've been to all of the Nepalese restaurants in Manchester and none can beat the Gurkha Grill for quality and quantity Amazing menu with loads of specialities - worth asking the staff to recommend something for you If you plan to visit Thursday to Sunday I'd recommend that you book in advance as they've got even more popular since their refurbishment

Lunch at the Lowry was excellent. The food was delicious and light, simple and value for money. The service is what you'd expect from a five star hotel owned by Rocco Forte, in suroundings that are designed to make you feel special without the intimidating and cold atmosphere of other fine dining establishments...dinner is next on my hit list and I won't be driving!

Best food in Manchester, bar none.

The address is a bit misleading being at the back of the buildings at the corner of Deansgate and Quay Street, but well worth finding his little gem. Very handy for the The Opera House, The Triangle, and Castlefield on nights out in the city centre, and we often make an 8 mile round trip just for a special lunch time meet-up. An informal atmosphere and cordial welcome awaits you, and questions on the dishes are welcomed with friendly, enthusiastic advice. The food is fantastic - try a few tapas followed by Paella and the odd glass of red wine.

Grinch is definitely a pesonal favourite of mine- it's so cosy and has such a great atmosphere. The food is excellent and is better than the standard of most wine- bar-restaurant type establishments. I had a Duck Pizza which was fab and only £5 during happy hour. My favourite food here is their Special Chicken- it is a real must as no-where else does anything as good! Proof that independant places like this really can do better than all the chains that seem to dominate Manchester these days.

the a la carte restaurant is impressive; tasty food, well presented etc. however, the pizzeria can only be described as dissappointing. poor, slow service, letchy wiaters, a long wait and food which doesnt live up to the restaurants reputation. a fine location, the function room is wonderful; and food in there absolutely fantastic. as for the pizzeria; give it a miss, spend a few more pennies and enjoy a real meal downstairs in the a la carte bit

overall not that good but i can sense the coming of a big business for the future.
