We dined early on Saturday 4.00pm and found to be more suitable and relaxing so no big queues. Good food enjoyed by all, but the spring onions we non existent for the duck meal. But a good choice of all food provided Dave & Sue..

this place is,shocking went for my birthday the food is,discussing no flavor all watery down cold pizza and we got there at 5.00pm only good thing was the refill drinks Desert were watery to must of been frozen This place needs to be shut down or they need to change there chef desperately or they will lose people i cant believe they are still open The seat need replacing as all worn and saggy Not worth the price at all make me sick when got home This,place needs to take a leaf out of AROMA in basildon festival I think they need to cut down there food so they can make sure it hot and taste nice and not all watery The service was rubbish some of the people who took plates away never spoke

Seated quickly, food was fantastic, staff very attentive, especially in terms of cleaning up. Defo recommended

First visit here yesterday, was told to pay straight away and met with a very unfriendly and unwelcoming lady at the bar/till area. Large selection of food available, but most of the meat was overcooked, dry, and lukewarm. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was absolutely vile. The Chocolate fountain was like brown water, the best thing about the whole meal was the freshly made Crepe! I have to say everything was replenished quickly and it was all kept very neat around the food despite customers filling their plates and bowls like it was their last meal for a week. Stairwell to toilet needs a good polish and mop, felt like I didn't want to touch any of the handrails. Not the place for us, so won't be back

When walked in the host was rude and abrupt, we had booked a table and requested a booth when we was taken to our table I asked about the booth that I had requested to be snapped at they are already booked. Then when sitting at our table we was watching 2 ladies with 4 children filling up plates of food then putting them in to take away boxes under the table, and also about 3 full plates of fried chicken wrapped up in tissue stuffing it in to there bags. Shame the food was lovely rest of the team were friendly but the host attitude made you want to leave straight away.

Very dirty A child dropped a cookie on the floor and a cleaning employee put it back on the plate. The chocolat honestly it was the first and last time I go to spoon in restaurant I don't recommende fountain is very dirty

We took my dad to celebrate, we absolutely loved the large variety of food even though i couldn’t eat all of them. We loved the ambiance and the service. I’d highly recommend

Visited with 2 adults and 3 children. Food was just about warm some cold! We made supervisor aware who offered my husband a drink for the inconvenience. We asked how often the temperature on the food was tested, no direct answer! Asked her what temperature the food should be she didn't know! We asked for a refund which we were given as didn't want to stay and risk eating anymore. Supervisor stated she would let the kitchen know when we had left about the situation. Never will return again! All had diarrhea the next day. Reported to food standards.

Numerous dishes to choose from but quite bland & some luke warm, some were undercooked. Staff looked miserable no smiling at customers. Upon leaving we said thankyou & goodbye, ignored by five staff members standing in bar area

Love going here, love trying all the different types of food. We go once a month. Great value for money

Booked a table for 4, Had a lovely family meal on 31st May, wasn't rushed. Seated very quickly. Lovely variety of food. Will go again.

The food was not as good as usual and there was limited choice on the Indian food. The plates were not taken away and left to pile up on the table.

I cannot recommend Spoons enough, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and really helped to make my sons birthday special. Thank you so much!

Lovely atmosphere, food was good but it felt like there was something missing, like the chicken and sweet corn soup needed salt.

Everything was great except one staff seemed the pot washer he was leaning on the wall just staring the whole hours and 10 mins we were there every time someone walked past he would be giving them dirty stairs and then he came and sat very close to us on the empty sofa made us very uncomfortable the reason we left early
