We visited here for lunch for the first time recently and will definitely be returning. Staff are lovely, food delicious with generous servings and prices (including drinks) reasonable. We both had the breaded mushrooms as a starter then a ribeye steak and a lasagna as mains which were beautifully presented.

My husband I went here for first time for Saturday lunch. We were the only customers there. They are usually busy in the evenings. The place was clean and the music quiet and pleasant. We ordered lamb biriyani and Himalayan chicken curry. They were served attractively and tasted very good! The desserts were excellent as well! We truly recommend Malai. We will be back again with our friends!

Great little pub. Like being on holiday for us but only half an hour from home. Food was excellent. Venison was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. starters were lovely and all round service was great.

Food and service were superb. Sadly there weren't many guests there and at 8:50 we were the only ones left. Such a shame as everything else was lovely.

We went yesterday lunchtime and both had Jamaican Chicken which was beautifully cooked and very tasty. The portion was quite large so we had no room for dessert. Will definitely be returning soon. Service was good, attentive but not overbearing.

Ok but service was a bit slow occasionally. Ordered 2 coffees at end of meal, they forgot them until reminded

We had Sunday lunch, and although we enjoyed our time together, the food and service were not the best. I had King Prawns in garlic to start, and they were more like shrimps than king prawns, and I thought it was a little greasy. The main courses were on the small side; my cajan chicken with pasta tasted nothing like the one I'd had a few weeks ago and, frankly, was bland. My wife didn't enjoy her roast dinner, saying that the vegetables were cold and the frozen roast potatoes were hard.

Lovely evening with excellent food and service

We had a very pleasant lunch here the other day, a lovely welcome, couldn't have been more helpful to our friend who has mobility issues. Varied menu to choose from and the food was delicious . We were really well looked after. We'll definitely be back

Exceptional meals and the most warm and friendly service. So relaxed - feels like ‘home from home’

Loved pub in lovely location let down by extremely slow service and failure to follow cooking instructions for venison steak. A rare steak was requested but a medium/well done was delivered. It was tasty but dry. Member of staff was patronising when paying the bill. August 2026

First time visit for food, and it didn't disappoint. Lovely food and good value. The service was friendly and efficient, we will definitely be back.

Very good food and service! The server was really nice and friendly and the food tasted authentic. The shisha was smooth and a good value. Definitely recommend for a good time.

The Warwickshire Lad is becoming a regular venue for us these days. Food is always excellent, the portions generous and the staff very friendly and efficient. We will be returning soon.
