This is a proper Italian restaurant, It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming, Amazing wines, brilliant food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

Visited The Vine on the 22nd May just out of lockdown. The service was excellent, the pub and restaurant felt very safe , the Covid rules were in place but the atmosphere was lovely, with crisp clean table clothes changed after every sitting. The food was gorgeous and there was plenty of it. It was hot well cooked and served by lovely friendly staff. I had the soup which was homemade and very tasty and the chilli king prawns with orange. It was amazing, hubby had the sausage's with mustard mash and red cabbage, followed by the fruit crumble. Again it was amazing and very tasty. Cant wait to visit again.

Been eating here for years. The recent refurbishment and menu have improved what was already a really good place to eat. Friendly staff and first class food

Lovely friendly staff who were very attentive in a covid safe environment. Couldn't fault the food, the chips were the best I'd had for a long time, not oily at all.

Fantastic pub with proper freshly made food which addresses the point below of slow service. Better a little slow and fresh and cooked properly than a reheated hotchpotch. Excellent staff, great food and a good price too. Lovely atmosphere inside as we went for our first after lockdown meal. Already rebooked and so looking forward to the next time.

Booked a table for my son and I for his birthday, definitely a good choice. The staff are so lovely and the food is wonderful. Definitely recommend a visit.

Our visit was a Friday lunchtime while pubs were only allowed to serve customers outdoors. This meant that the pub was only offering a limited "garden" menu of snack type food. We all had a venison burger, which was nice, but the service was extremely slow. I have been to the Vine Inn before and enjoyed having lunch with a friend in their dining room, but that was a couple of years back.

This was our second visit this week so that says a lot because I’m a very confident cook so that makes me a little extra fussy. But the meals are always so full of flavour, nice variety and well presented. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. They’ve done a splendid job in regards to Covid safety. We were particularly impressed on our first visit ( this year) with the service from Sharon.
