Fantastic food. Possibly the best balti restaurant in the entire selly oak/stirchley/Kings Heath Region. We keep going back.

I was told by the guys at Lamborghini Birmingham to visit Simpsons has they were told it was a fantastic experience. Well the restaurant experience was perfect, upon arrival you are greeted with front of house, addressed by your surname and escorted into the restaurant area, then passed to another host to see you to your table. Our host (i don't use the word waitress) was Jenny and what a impeccably dressed lady, well spoken and articulated each dish has it was served. The whole experience was great, starters of Grey Mullet & Terrine just melted in your mouth, followed by the beef which was cooked has we requested and the knife just cut through it seamlessly. The atmosphere and ambiance of Simpsons, I believe is difficult to match anywhere in Birmingham. Thank you Simpsons staff, you are definitely my first choice restaurant in Birmingham. India Garden is literally the best Indian restaurant in West Midlands. It was my first time their and staff were all A1 presented and were lovely. Food was so good its indescribable, and the best thing about it is how cheap and cheerful the restaurant is. We had a meal for four with wine and drinks and bill came up to only £35.00 and it could of been cheaper if we went for the £8.95 deal which they have got. £8.95 for any starters, main dishes, rice and naan, or £8.95 for the All you can eat buffet!! The best thing about that evening was when we got free deserts as a thank you for coming. I fully recommend it to anybody that loves Indian food. Best too book aswell as they are really busy due to the standards of food, soon to be a Michelin star restaurant I say.

Nice location and friendly bar and lounge, great food cooked to perfection, would recommend people to eat there.

What a shock sitting here in South Africa for a number of years but when i come home Bedders is my first place to visit, now i here the family sold up. I as a little girl would hand over my shopping list and the money and for my wait 2 chips would be wrapped for me to eat, I remember the daffodils from Bill to his wife. My mom Peggy worked sometimes in the kitchen, My brother John visited for his pie and chips,Pat Johnny what happened? Jackie

If you want good service go to this restaurant,if you want good food than don't ! Bland and microwaved meat with a universal sauce. Easy cheap food !!

visited Stirlings on 24th March and had a lovely meal, the restaurant is small and intimate, the food was superb and the service very attentive and friendly , will definitely visit again and would recommend

The oriental is a diamond of a restaurant. The staff are always friendly welcoming and well turned out. Food is always of a very high standard and full of flavour. I enjoy going out with my partner as we always end up here and never fail to leave with a smile on my face.

Below average food....there are far better restaurants in the area!!

We went to one of the buffet evenings at the India Garden and found the food varied and extremely tasty. Highly recommend a visit.

I have been using the black country chip shop for many years (only chip shop I use due to the high quality and tasty food) and the food has always been fresh, piping hot and delicious, however today I got fish & chips twice and the fish was absolutely disgusting, as if it had been reheated from yesterday or something, the chips were still delicious but I will now be looking for a new chip shop, I must add this is the first time I am complaining about the food in over 10 years of eating from there!

WARNING! Really poor food, slow delivery and even furthermore incorrect order. Even thought the order was incorrect they still charge you or threaten you with blacklist and take whole order away. NEVER again. Disgusting.

Having booked a table for last night (19th February) for ourselves and two friends I have been left utterly disappointed in this place. Turned up for a our pre-booked table only to be told that the chef was not working tonight as they had 2 private parties. Was told that there had been no bookings for Saturday night, which was clearly untrue. We were given a drink on the house but felt that the staff were not very forthcoming with accepting any blame and they also mentioned that it had happened to someone earlier. Not a very good impression and would 100% never go back there!
