Local Chinese restaurant tucked away on the fringe of the city centre. Very good food cooked fresh and brought to your table. I went with an Australian friend and he commented that it was the best Chinese meal that he ever had! Definitely recommended.

Nothing in China is as good as this place. Need I say more. Expensive but the best

My little boy won't eat Chinese food because he doesn't like the taste but cooking his own food meant he eat it all. And went back for seconds!

Fantastic indian restaurant, fantastic food (will even make you a dish thats not on the menu!), fab waiters & manager who seemed to speak to everyone! What more can I say other than it beats any other Indian restaurant for miles around. Can highly recommend to you all

Found it to be very friendly and relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. The roast dinner was good with plenty of meat and the Beef and Guinness pie was excellent. The beer was also very good.

Excellent restaurant ! Great food served by happy team of people -- intimate and quite a find really -- don't miss the Moroccan Mint Tea after your meal :-) Bring own alcohol and enjoy fab lamb, chicken or fish / seafood dishes served as a Tagine dish or a typical Moroccan meal with taste in abundance !

La Fibule – Moseley

Excellent size portions, hearty well made meals with lots of options. Good prices and nice setting, especially in the summer. Advise visiting here more so than those chain restaurants for that little bit extra.

Sunday 12th November 2006 The Warehouse Cafe is now "Open All Hours" - 7 day a week for lunch / afternoon and every evening except Sunday. It's literally 5 minutes walk from Selfridges (under the railway arches and turn right), and now it's open more days I think I'll be eating there much more often. We shared starters of whole bulb of roast garlic with cream cheese, various pates and some falafel, accompanied by bread. For main I had a hazelnut and mushroom nut roast with an apricot stuffing, accompanied by roast veg. It was all very very tasty! Plus, it's bring your own, so we had a very nice bottle of red, which would have cost a fortune anywhere else. For sweet, we shared an extremely chocolately chocolate and raspberry torte-thingy, with coffees. Total cost for 3 starters, 4 mains plus 1 desert and coffee - about 12 quid a head! It's worth noting that it changed hands about a year ago and the food is now superb plus the service has improved. Fri 24th March 2006 Ate at the Warehouse Cafe, from their evening specials menu this time. As a starter I had very nice slow roasted garlic with cream cheese (vegan or cow) as a starter - hmmmm. You get the whole bulb, about a dozen cloves, with the top sliced off and slowly roasted until the flesh is soft and light brown and delicious. Followed up with Gado Gado, an Indonesian salad of bean sprouts, red pepper, white radish and carrot strips, with spicy peanut sauce and crispy fried tofu. Loved that sauce! I managed to squeeze in a sweet of gooey but tasty pear and apply tart thingy, while my companions tucked into an ice cream bombe with cherries and a rich dark chocolate sauce. Sat 17th September 2005 Ate at the Warehouse Café for the 1st time since it changed ownership. Had a very tasty feta and spinach pie with a hint of tarragon accompanied by carefully balanced salads, each with it's own distinctive flavour including a light but flavoursome rice salad with a hint of sesame, thinly sliced red cabbage with orange juice. I'm certainly going back again.

I was very wary of receiving an invitation to a meal at this place. I'm not a fan of 'Buffet' type venues as in my experience they are piled high with poor quality food. My visit was on a Saturday night and the place was absolutely rammed. We had to park our cars on the pavements as you could not get into the carparks. The service, quality of food and variety of choice was way above my expectations. A staggering choice of mains, fresh fish/salad and desserts including the famous chocolate fountain. Despite how busy it was, the staff were all friendly and helpful and I can see why Buffet Island has such an excellent reputation. I will definitely be back!

Went with a group of ex work colleagues on Friday 10 November. Well worth the 2 hour drive there and back from Stoke on Trent. Food was excellent with a wide range available (even Jim didn't manage to sample it all!!). Deserts were superb with again a very wide choice. Many thanks to MC for the invite and the booking. Will certainly try again when hungry!

The shop owners have 28years experience in the food industry with regular update courses and certificates in hygiene, handling food and HACCP as well as his staff. the food cooked with best quality product and the fish is deliver daily fresh from Aberdeen and Grimsby fish monikers. They using cholesterol free palm oil for frying.100%lamb meet kebabs and chicken blend and marinated in spices and herbs. Very tasty and healthy. Price are very reasonable and justified by the quality and service. as the owner says :if the customers are please tell your friends if not tell him.
