We visited the restaurant food was great but felt like the table we sat at was squashed in between a table each side and felt a bit uncomfortable.

Always enjoy a meal here. Nice surroundings, great staff and good choice of food and drinks.

A lovely Sunday lunch but quite expensive at £17 each for a roast dinner

Totally fantastic Saturday lunch. This pub never fails to please. The fresh fish off the board was mussels and curried monkfish. Wow!

What a find! A quaint Country Pub in Clent with friendly, attentive staff. Superb customer service! Now the food - there is a varied menu with a choice of the unusual amongst some favourites. They offer a Specials board that includes game and fish dishes. We were spoilt for choice, but we have solved this problem, as we will return to eat our way through the menu! Compliments to the Chef, your food is delicious! We will be back very soon.

Thought we would try this pub for a change, but disappointed, as very noisy. Food mediocre - and the tin with puff pastry is hardly a pie ! But service friendly and helpful.

There are 3 pubs on the same road but the Red Lion definitely serves the best food! Lasagne was delicious, atmosphere great, well organised staff, will be returning! PS kinder dough dessert is a sweet heaven!

After a disappointing hotel meal I was recommended this place so gave it a try I was that impressed with the food and friendly staff I booked for the following evening too so would recommend for a good country pub exactly what u would expect home cooked food cooked fresh Well done all

Good menu with some different choices from normal pub grub. The food was excellent. We’ll worth a visit.

A busy Saturday night and we were taken straight to our table and the drinks order taken swiftly. We had no starters but we didn’t have to wait too long for the mains. The food was excellent and I had a salad and it was genuinely generous on portion size. Everyone else’s were of good size also and cooked to perfection. The waitress was spot on too. We shall return.

We have eaten here at other times and been very pleased so for our wedding anniversary we decided to book again. Unfortunately, this time, we were very disappointed. Firstly we were rushed through to our table. This was under the stairs and felt very cramped. None of the staff were very pleasant, and we felt we were more of an inconvenience than paying guests. We enjoyed the food, when it arrived, but not the whole evening.

We dine here offten and always recieve fantastic service, yummy food and a warm welcome from Simon the landlord. Friendly staff make a for a great evening and the food never disapointd

Yet another repeat visit, many times with the family, this time just as a couple. Always a warm welcome, followed up by a meal up to the usual excellent standard. Although a busy time for the staff, never had to wait when called on for any requests. Well recommended and we’ll be back.

Sunday lunch was as always first class. My wife and I have become fairly regular diners on Sunday's , the food is superb as is the service from Simon and the team
