two previous vists where we had excellent meals persuaded me to return with my lifelong friends. what happened to the usual Chef/cooks? The cod dish had undoubtedly been left hanging around before being served and with a miniscule ammount of sauce the plate looked uninspiringly pale. The fish was nicely cooked but under seasoned and very dry around the edges. The ham poached eggs and chips had vey overcooked eggs, also hanging around perhaps? My korean chicken was nicely cooked but again not much sauce so the dish was rather dry. The service did appear busy but that is not an excuse for sloppily presented food. OK for the price but not great.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeFour of us visited for Sunday Lunch. There was a slight disappointment because the Mussels had sold out, but all of us enjoyed our meals. I particularly enjoyed my Beef dinner, the beef was beautifully cooked and very tender the roast potatoes were really tasty and a nice choice of vegetables. The Venison off the special board was really enjoyed. It was felt that the portion size of the Duck could have been a little larger, but the meal was enjoyed. All the meals were served hot as well. We will definitely come back.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeHadn't visited here for a while. Turned up on a Friday night to an empty car park, restaurant dead, no atmosphere. Not surprising after our meal. The starters were average. Sausage and mash for main (both of us) - lumpy mash, horrendous overcooked, flavourless sausages. Along with the unhappy looking staff, who didn't even ask how things were. Very disappointing - won't be back.
The Red Lion – CoventryAs always excellent food and staff cannot do enough for you. Would definitely recommend visiting
The Red Lion – CoventryNice food at a very good price. Staff friendly and helpful. Much better than the other restaurant at Warwick Arts Centre.
Panda Mami – WarwickWe had a lovely pre-show meal at Panda Mami. It was busier than I had expected but the staff were very friendly and efficient, the food was delicious and it was excellent value for money.
Panda Mami – WarwickVery good food.
Panda Mami – WarwickCame to the pub for a catch up with a friend. The staff were really lovely nothing to much trouble. Had the Tennessee burger that was lovely apart from too much red onion wasn't keen on the coleslaw tasted far to sharp like the cheap ones you can get. Chips were fab . My friend had the chicken with BBQ pineapple chips and salad said it was really nice.
The Red Lion – CoventryWe have started to use this pub more frequently now. This is due to the service is always good the staff are friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Good choice of food at a good price and is always nice. Look forward to going again
The Red Lion – CoventryFood and service excellent every time I visit. I highly recommend.
The Red Lion – CoventryThe staff were friendly and welcoming, even often arriving half an hour before our booking (1.30pm reservation). We were welcomed to our table without any issues. Trying to decide what to eat was an issue for all of us (4). The variety on the menu and the specials board was exceptional. We all ordered the full works - starter, main, desserts. The food was amazing from start to finish and we couldnt fault it. The welcoming staff, the food was excellent and would definitely be going back to this restaurant. Some people could say it isnt on the cheap side, but for £200 for 4 people, the dining at this establishment is amazing and you would go hungry. Five stars and well done to the chef.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeWe normally really enjoy the ambience, food and service at Panda Mami but on Sunday were under the impression it closed at 8.30 pm (as advertised both on line and in the premises). However the staff made it quite clear they were closing at 8.00 pm and to that end arriving at 7.20 pm after a concert, we felt very rushed and also staff were (very soon after we arrived) boxing up into Tupperware containers the food from the buffet. All in all it lead to a not particularly great experience I’m afraid.
Panda Mami – WarwickA lovely venue with friendly staff. The seasonal food is fabulous and not overpriced. I highly recommend it.
Vine Inn – StourbridgeThe food was wonderful!!! Really tasty. Big portion sizes. Care was taken to cater for allergens. Lovely atmosphere.
