I haven’t been here for a while and we had a show at the Albany Theatre so came here as we like this kind of food and it was close to the venue. Lovely waitress took our order and the food could not be faulted, very tasty and very authentic in a well decorated dining area. I have a couple of issues though. There was a charge of 75p for a glass of tap water and the non alcoholic drinks were as expensive as what their alcoholic equivalent would be. Nearly £20 for a non alcoholic bottle of wine? I also think putting a 10% surcharge on the bill is unnecessary as the staff worked very hard and would easily get this in tips and this should have been left to the diners discretion.

A birthday dinner with 6 people. All were pleased with what they ordered the standard was very high for the quality of the food, the service and the restaurant layout. Not our first visit definitely not our last.

Excellent food and service in a wonderful location. We were visiting the area for our sons commissioning service and a friend recommended the Vine for a meal afterwards and we were not dissapointed, thank you.

Took a friend to the restaurant- lovely meal, they had the pork, which my wife had, and I enjoyed the the beef. Really tasty, up the usual standard with great service

A disappointing start to the evening as we arrived to be told we were to be seated outside. Apparently there is an option when booking the meal to choose (it wasnt on the form I used). We felt a bit like goldilocks in the the table outside was too cold and noisy , so we moved to another table which was far too hot. We moved back to the other table.. from this point t it got better as someone tried to fix the heating however it was broken and extremely noisy so we were offered a table inside....the meal and staff inside were excellent.
