Been to the dog inn so many times now and never had a bad meal or experience, staff always amazing and mark is a great chef! Food is unbelievable! Thank you for another great meal yesterday

This really is one of the best meals we have eaten out for quite some time. The vegan Sunday roast is amazing!! All 6 of us who dined, and we all had 3 courses were all delighted with our food. Clearly freshly made with such care, and topped off with exceptional service. This is our second visit, and we will definitely be back. Thank you

There prawn toast is my favourite. their food is good and tasty and their drinks are too.

Had the Sunday lunch which I've had a few times before including pre lockdown. Always excellent quality and service very good. My very slight picky points are that I preferred the pate the way it used to be served previously in the pot with the sourdough bread. I appreciate it probably cost more but I would pay it. The current toasted bread slices are too small and not as good. Also would like a touch more gravy with the roast. But as I say very minor points taking it down to 9.75 out of 10. Overall it is a fantastic pub/restaurant and would highly recommend.

Went on a Sunday lunchtime. All 3 of us thought the food, service and price excellent. We have found a gem of a place and we will certainly be back. Well done

Had a fabulous evening , the food was delicious. Great value for money and cooked with love and flair. The bar staff were wonderful and really attentive and had a great sense of humour Will definitely be back !

The food was excellent, the service was swift and the staff were happy! The food itself was tasty and presented well. They have a separate vegan menu which is modest in size (but still with actual choice) and big in flavour! They even have vegan desserts, it is worth giving 5 stars just for that. I had the banana blossom, which I thought was taking a gamble as it’s not normally something none vegan chefs do well. It was however exceptionally well cooked. Will definitely be going back!

First visit here after a friend recommended the food. We was not disappointed, the food was excellent, all staff and service also excellent. Will be returning.

Worth a visit. Fabulous food for all diets, great atmosphere and great views out over the countryside. Found The Dog Inn after a search on tripadviser and a look on their own website at the menus. Great looking vegan choice and I wasn't disappointed, first time having vegan fish and chips, definitely would recommend. Hubby had a steak which he really enjoyed too. Will be coming back here again.

What a great evening we had on Saturday (meal for two). Really friendly, attentive and welcoming staff with a lovely restaurant area and good atmosphere. The food was top drawer - I had dishes from the Vegan menu, although I'm not vegan, and it was delicious; who knew cauliflower steak could be soo tasty!! Will definitely be returning and telling my friends about this place!
