Food very good, service excellent considering the pressure on the limited staff, who worked tirelessly and at a pace to take orders, serve drinks and food as well as the bar and till. Well done ladies. The steak pie was really flavoursome and chunky chips, perfect. We will visit again soon.

We really enjoy the Traders Arms, the food is always fresh and the menu is always reliably good and the staff are always polite and attentive. The only, what I would call “bad” (probably not the right word) excuse was yesterday 26/01/25. A party of 26 were in for a birthday party so our food and others around us had to wait an hour till our meal. No one actually told us how long our food would be. If this was to happen again it might be a good idea to offer a bowl of crisps or free soft drinks maybe???

First visit to Traders Arms , not disappointed at all , friendly welcome , food was very good ,dog friendly which was nice to see , booked in again to try Sunday lunch soon . Highly recommend .

Party of 6 Ex Rugby players met up to dine before game. Game cancelled due to weather. Best thing to happen, a most enjoyable 3 course meal, and didn't get soaked watching rugby

I've eaten at The Traders twice in December and both times the food has been delicious. We received a warm and friendly welcome. Will definitely visit again soon.

We went to the Traders on Christmas Eve, booked the christmas menu and the food was absolutely delicious! Service was fantastic too. There was a singer on, which really added to the atmosphere, we will be back!

We are regular visitors to the Traders for food and we took a couple of friends with us on Saturday night, we all throughly enjoyed it. Food was excellent as always and service A*

four of us had a carved turkey meal on 14th dec 2024 and it was DELICIOUS ! the staff as usual are friendly and helpful - what a winning combination. We had another booking somewhere on the 20th but after such a good experience we've cancelled that and rebooked the Anderton. Just Yummy !
