The food and service were fabulous as always. We were very kindly given a gift voucher a d delighted in taking our children and their godparents for a late lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Had a lovely meal on Sunday 4th Jan mid afternoon- the pub was warm and welcoming the service was excellent and the food very good The reason we chose Traders was because we attended a wake earlier in the month and the buffet food was really good with a constant supply of hot food as well as tasty cold buffet food I would strongly recommend eating at the Traders

Excellent service, food was amazing

Table booked at 5.45 pm new years eve, food not served until 6.40 pm. After finishing our meal waited for 20 mins and still not offered the desert menu, when asked they thought we only wanted a main course, what they wanted was us to leave the table because they had sold tickets for the evening and wanted our table. The staff were very pushy and not polite. We dine their and usually enjoy everything but on this occasion found the experience disgraceful.

Gorgeous, fresh, well presented tasty food again at The Traders Arms. This is becoming our ‘go too’ for great food & it is always warm & comfortable with the hosts looking after us well. The service is fantastic & with all courses of our order so good, we cannot fault it & have booked again.

We went for an early before attending a nearby event. The place felt very homely with logs burning in the fireplace. The service was second to none. The food arrive swiftly. All the dishes were delicious. We couldn't fault anything.

Our first visit here. We both chose from the christmas menu and had 2 courses. My meal was very nice. Blade of beef cooked to perfection. Sadly my partners vegetarian meal was lacking. The celeriac roast was really a tasteless mush and all of the meal merged into one tasteless soginess somehow. We thought the celeriac "roast" would be something with more bite and tastiness. However he has become acustemed to poor veggi meals in mainly carnivorous eating establishments. The trifle was mainly a huge cream topping. Very little fruit and jelly. Looked fab with sprinkles but didn't deliver. The dark chocolate mousse was very nice and the crushed ginger biscuit a great touch. Staff were stretched. 2 on the ground when we arrived and a very full pub. We were billed for all items seperately. Glad I checked because we ordered as a 2 courses deal.
