Salud Tapas – BlackpoolThe meze is to die for. This place is a proper hidden gem. Not one thing it wasn't very tasty. We were in a party of four and there wasn't one thing that nobody liked.
Go Greek – BlackpoolVery nice chips with plenty of gravy. The lady that served us was very friendly and helpful. Will defo be calling again.
The Cottage – BlackpoolGreat! Now I know why this place has such a good name. Excellent fresh fish, great chips and lovely curry sauce. Spotless and friendly staff. Just try it!
The Cottage – BlackpoolGreat spot for some tasty tapas in the centre of Blackpool. They also do paella for two if you're not in a rush.
Salud Tapas – BlackpoolMy son and his wife come here and so we went tonight with the family to celebrate my retirement. Would highly recommend it we all had the mini meze and my husband had the steak. The food was amazing and good value for money would definitely come here again . The staff were very friendly.
Go Greek – BlackpoolI used to live round here and things are definitely on the up with new restaurants and bars popping up. This is a glitzy new gin bar that seems very popular, particularly with the ladies.
Lateo Boutique – BlackpoolDidn't recognise this place - they seem to have knocked into next door and made thins much more open-plan. We walked straight into an 80s night with a disco! Good atmosphere.
Winstons Bistro and Bar – BlackpoolNot sure a bunch of guys arriving the worse for wear at 11pm was what the staff really wanted to see but they did a great job looking after/putting up with us.
Blue Diamond – BlackpoolThe views from here are fabulous and the White Tower has always had a really plush feel to it. A touch of Vegas, maybe. Great food and service and just a shame that it’s not more well known, despite being a Blackpool institution for so many years now.
The White Tower Restaurant – BlackpoolBeen going here for years. A Blackpool institution. Highly recommended!
San Marcos – Blackpoollovely meal with friends at Italio. Great food and service
Italio – BlackpoolAte at Stefani’s for the first time last Thursday. The restaurant is small and only seats around 12 people so would suggest to book if you are looking to eat in. The garlic bread we had as a starter was really good and was the best part of the meal. The pizza I had for main was good, just not on the same level as any of the pizza’s I had just weeks before in Naples, Italy but so much better than any local takeaway pizza in the area. Perhaps that does slightly affect this review as before trying pizza in Italy, this would have scored slightly higher.
Stefani’s Pizzeria – BlackpoolMy boyfriend and I visited Stefani's on Valentine's Day after seeing an offer on Sugarvine's Twitter. The restaurant is in a nice area of Blackpool near the Winter Gardens, so it would be an ideal place to visit before a gig or a show. We loved the decor and you could really see that Nico (the owner/head chef) was passionate and wanted to give the restaurant an authentic feel. We sat at the bar area whilst we waited to be seated. Here we could see all the pizza's being freshly prepared. From the dough to the toppings, everything was fresh! We had the half and half garlic bread for starters to shared, which was really good! Half topped with tomato sauce and the other size mozzarella. Then we both had a pizza, which again was really good. Our only critic would be that their was a bit too much cheese on them but that could just be our personal preference. Because it was Valentine's, the first round of drinks were on the house and so in total for a starter between us, two pizzas and a drink each it was less than £15 each!
Stefani’s Pizzeria – BlackpoolGreat place for breakfast or a spot of lunch with a sunny terrace and country views. Plus its only 10 minutes from Blackpool.
Staining Lodge Golf Course and Glass House – BlackpoolMy partner and myself stayed at the Blackpool FC hotel for 2 nights over this weekend 1st February. We was really disappointed with the breakfast on the first morning. My poached egg was over done, bacon was cold and rubber like, black pudding was hard and undercooked. I did us some toast into the toaster it can out still bread so I put it in again for it to be cremated! That night we’d thought we eat an evening meal at the restaurant thinking surely it won’t be a bad experience again. How wrong was I! It was awful. We both had starter of garlic mushrooms which came out like soup in a soup dish with a dessert spoon. Our main was steak which was basically steak a few fries,3 mushrooms and tomatoes! £22! Disgusting. They wasn’t even busy because we were the only customers and the menu is basic. No excuses really for the poor quality of food. Couldn’t even bring ourselves to enter the next morning for breakfast what we had already paid for.
Rowley’s at Blackpool FC Hotel – BlackpoolWas surprised to find this little gem on Highfield Rd in Blackpool. A cute, quirky and contemporary cafe restaurant. We both enjoyed our meals though we had a bit of a wait for them. All in all I'd recommend
Montagues – BlackpoolSoo glad there is a good vegan restaurant in Blackpool! The design of the restaurant isn't necessarily to my taste but that doesn't matter as the food is great and its a vegan venue!
